That’s great man, I need both my knees replaced so my cardio is suffering but my strength is through the roof. I have had work on both my shoulders as well, but that was years ago when I was younger. Good luck to you!

5 years in now and I hover around 260lbs, not as low of a weight as I want to be, but I have added tons of strength and muscle.
-
January was 4 years and I’m still going strong, added so much muscle to my frame it’s actually becoming an issue. Cutting back on the heavy lifting to focus on getting extra lean.

More before and after pictures. I also started my own Instagram page @dustinm180lbs.

3 weeks back in the gym and feeling strong and lean. Weight is 238lbs. Over 3 years into this lifestyle now. Before and after.

I was a 50 waist and 3-4x shirt. I wear a 36 pants and a large shirt. My shirts are extremely tight in arms and chest though, which is a good thing.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, I have not posted an update here in a while. Currently 240lbs at the moment continuing to add muscle to help with loose skin. Sorry I’m not smiling.

Sandy there is no such thing as a diet to target belly fat, just work on a long haul deficit. Also as a female don’t be scared to lift heavy weights. Contrary to myths you will not get bulky, as a female you don’t have the testosterone that it would require to get super bulky. Lifting weights will change your body in a…

3 years in and going strong, focused this last year on muscle growth to help with lose skin. My skin is mainly an issue on my inner thighs and love handles. Current weight is 236. Before and after pics.

Was trying to lose 20lbs before vacation, but my body wouldn’t do it. I dropped 10lbs, but I am super lean right now. 221lbs!

I’ve always had mental strength, whenever I do something it consumes me. At this point my eating habits have changed to the point I feel physically ill when I overeat. I think there is a point in everyone’s life that when they are ready they will make the change.

Currently at 226lbs and leaning down before a Caribbean vacation.

Start weight 398, current weight 231!

2.5 years in and still going strong, 230lbs and in the best shape of my life.

I lost 167lbs the first year, the last year and a half I have exercised more than ever and still log my calories. I didn’t add back in my exercise calories, I set a strict goal of 1500 a day regardless of exercise. Yesterday I ate 1776 calories but actively burned 1400 exercising. I weighed myself monthly but learned this…

398lbs to 226lbs!

I started my first 2 months with no exercise, once I got into the groove with my calorie goals and logging them I started exercising. On my third month I started lifting weights, after a month of lifting weights I started cardio. I try 1 hour of weightlifting a day with 30 minutes of cardio. Honestly though If you are not…

I still log my calories, it’s so simple so why not. I chose a lifestyle change not a diet, I had tried so many fad diets in the past. I have a stressful life like anyone else, but I don’t believe I ever just over eat because of it. I now have flipped the script and feel stressed if I do over eat.

More before and after photos!

I didn’t set any weekly weight loss goal, I rarely weighed myself during my active loss phase. I just kept my calories at 1500 a day. I figured out foods that would keep me full over time. I also in the first 2 months of loss did not exercise, I just got use to the loss of all the calories I was use to having! Calorie…

Thanks everyone, all the love just keeps me going!

I didn’t watch any macros, I focused on keeping my sugar under 30g a day though. I felt a simple CICO with hard work would be best for me. I had tried so many fads before and failed. If you ever want a detailed plan let me know. I will tell you for the first 2 months I just got used to my reduced calories, after 2 months I…

Putting on so much muscle lately. Thinking of doing a bodybuilding show. Would need to drop 15-20lbs though.

Picture is from this morning, current weight is 225lbs.

I have always had a large broad frame. I didn’t have the huge amount of trunk weight. I was evenly distributed, people tell me now there is no way that I still weigh 225lbs-230lbs on a daily basis. Really I am not sure what my top weight was because most scales would only go to 350. At a doctor visit in November of 2016 I…

Lost 180lbs, but adding muscle on recently.
-
I have actually lost 180lbs and while my love handles have loose skin, the rest of me looks really good considering. Lifting weights has helped me hide 95% of it.
-
Body just keeps changing, no weight loss but packing on so much muscle mass. Weigh 220lbs with a 6 pack.

Hit 180lb weight loss milestone this week. Very dramatic before and after.
