Started November 1st last year. Very low carb at <20g net a day. To date have lost a little over 58 pounds. I weigh and log everything I eat and am selective about the database entries I use. I do watch calorie consumption but almost never feel hungry and have never been tempted to cheat.

I didn't get much reaction until I started wearing new work uniforms. I dropped from size 18 to size 10 but the bigger clothes hid it. All of a sudden I have people who don't recognize me welcoming me and are shocked when they realize who I am.

I got new uniforms for work (size 10 instead of size 18) and people have been constantly commenting on how good I am looking and asking if I have lost weight. In the old saggy, baggy uniforms it was hard to see the newer, smaller me.

Almost made it, but not quite. I managed a loss of 24.1 pounds. Even though I didn't make the 25 pounds I am very happy with the result. :)

My energy levels have improved greatly since starting keto last November. You can feel tired initially while your body adapts to running on ketones, but after that I found I simply have more energy. I don't surf but can now walk 10km at a brisk pace with no problem. I used to barely be able to manage 3k's at a steady walk.

Now yes, but when I lived on a rural property in Australia and only had water via rainwater tanks I had to be cautious with water use so only showered on alternate days and had a good sponge wash on the other days.

I buy salmon, chicken, duck breasts, steak, bacon, eggs, but have always done this even when not keto. The balance of my shopping is for vegetables.

I haven't found it more expensive. If anything my food bills are smaller as I don't now buy the generally more expensive processed foods.

It is working for me. A little over 4 months ago I was put on LCHF by my doctor due to showing insulin resistance. Hi, I am also a nurse. I usually pack a salad and some sort of protein to have with it. For snacks I pack some berries and/or nuts. I also take an almond milk drink with me. Alternatively when cooking the night before, make a little extra and take that with you. Hope this helps.
