Whenever I have free time. At the moment, its on my lunch break. In the past its been at 5am every morning, other times its been 9pm at night.

Here I am 8 days later and have done 2 runs (1 slow one yesterday, 1 today relatively normal pace). Wearing compression shorts and all is good, feeling back to normal. Happy.

You weight a couple lbs more than me, and same height. Losing more weight will definitely help, but so will getting more miles in under your belt. Just keep being consistent and slowly increase your mileage

They just said to wait a week, so I'll wait a week and see how everything is. Was just curious to see what everyone else had experienced, because at this stage there's no pain or discomfort now which is surprising.

I prefer mornings, earlier the better before the sun is up.

I go through these types of slumps where the motivation is non existent, everything seems like a chore etc etc even though if I actually do it, I love it and feel great. I tend to see that as needing a break from things for a week or so, or mix up what im doing to give me a new interest in something.

I usually use an online tool or website (ie create a route in Strava) to check what the actual distance is so I know how accurate a run is

I think Garmin was just trying to be very generous with the time to make sure that I took the time to stay put for a bit.

I just bought a Garmin Instinct (previously using Suunto Ambit2R) and found the GPS is a lot less accurate than I've encountered. Enough that I complained to Garmin and they said they would refund me. The one thing they recommended was doing a GPS soak before you start your activity (stay in the same spot after the GPS…
