portion control and slowly change what your eating / cooking. I know its not easy, trust me I went from omnivore to vegan over night, not easy. So what you want to do is not go cold turkey. lets say you love 10 sodas a week. ok well slowly bring that number down, try 8 sodas and then 6 sodas. say you love mayonnaise, try…

Im a nurse and I love the science aspect of things and I think this is such a brilliant idea! safe for the animals. I know some people are like ew artificial meat.... but think about it. the original cells (stem cells) are taken from a cow, so the cell is a live cell, not artificial. this live cell is then placed in an…

when i used to eat meat I would soak my chicken in 2 liters of water and 1g of salt x 30min-1hr. then remove and throw in the oven. add veggies! super moist and juicy chicken!

everything in moderation. I Stopped eating meat in Sept 2017 (i went vegan over night literally) and Ive been vegan and Ive lost a total of 20lbs. TO be honest, i find it easier to stick with, and its easier to hold myself accountable. I mean when people bring cookies or other junk into my work I always ask someone else to…

I like coconut oil, and it doesnt leave a weird taste in any of my foods. I use it in a lot of cooking and as a butter replacement. but everything in moderation. and if not in food it works well as a hair treatment.

i hate scales, and they are bullies. i just go by how i feel in my clothes and my over all shape. like how are my pants fitting etc

increase plants/ fiber and water intake. also colace or any other stool softener will def help. mayb eat some grapes to help theings move along a little more smoothly ;)

when i ate meat I would make a small brine of a ratio of 1 liter of water to 3 table spoons of salt. mix and let the raw breast soak for 1/2 hour to 1 hour. then take out, add pepper and whatever other spices and cook in the oven with veggies. it makes the meat so juicy/ not dry! i still do it for my fam and they love it!

i do my best guesstimate. I dont have time to weigh and do all that other stuff. not enough time in the day for that lol

beards when they are not in the prickly phase! its like trying to kiss a cactus or something.

everything in moderation. remind your self that this is a lifestyle change and will not occur over night. say you drink 5 sodas a day, cut down to 3 and so on. and if you like mayo, try switching to vegan mayonaise or hummus. also 1200 is a big jump and is hard for your body to get used too. Try cutting out say 200-500…

sometimes it helps to preplan and portion what u are eating, increased protein helps. Also if your calorie goal is very difficult mayb try increasing your goal by 100-200 calories and slowly decrease as your body gets used to the decreased caloric intake.

nice smile.... (hint you should smile lol, show them pearly whites)

You can do this! :D

thanks for the tips! and by fatigue, I mean im tired. like i could totally go back to bed. lol
-
maybe cook smaller portions (which can be tough), or after you cook prepackage food for the next few days as set meals to help, also cut down slowly, any life style change wont happen over night, also have your family do it too! it helps when someone else does it with you (unfortunately you cant always count on them 100%…

I've been vegan for about 4 months now, what do u recommend to kind of help some fatigue; like work outs or foods (or mayb the fatigue is just me.. I work 2 jobs and im trying to go back to school.. ugh)

stay hydrated. take supplements. there are certain nutrients in meat that you will not get in a vegan/ vegetarian diet. do research as well. look up new recipes, or even modifying your old recipes to fit your new lifestyle, this way you can still enjoy some of the things you were used to eating. like meatless-meatloaf, or…

always keep in mind when you want to lose/ maintain lost body weight, you should look at it like a lifestyle change, not a diet. try not to cut everything out of your diet at once. decrease slowly (ie. mayo to hummus. or 5 sodas to 3 sodas. butter to a little bit of oil etc). and of course reward yourself for your progress…

I'm vegan (since sept 2017). so im still new and adjusting was interesting. I was an omnivore and then I was like, I'm gona try veganism, and here I am :) some changes to regular things I used to eat so it makes transitioning easier. soy creamer instead of cream (works well in cream of corn, mash potatoes, coffee), and if…
