  • I tried most of their flavors via samples. My top 3 are Bday Cake, Salted Caramel and Maple Syrup. The Capuccino would be my 4th choice, it tastes like the Tim Hortons Iced Capuccino especially if you drink it with full fat milk.
  • canadianprotein.com The Birthday cake flavor is just delicious. As for clean, I agree with AnvilHead's comment on that.
  • And let's not forget Yates was/maybe still is a steroid user. When your gear, even a *kitten* diet and workout program will make you build muscles.
  • To gain weight, she needs to eat more. Because she is active, it probably means her metabolism is high, but I highly suspect she doesn't eat much. Only way for to gain weight is to eat more calories than she burns.
  • Chips, too much calories for so little, same thing for store bought muffins.
  • A good read https://aworkoutroutine.com/starvation-mode/
  • When I am cutting, I usually stick with 1g of protein per lbs of body weight. You might get away with 0,8g on a cut, but I prefer 1g per lbs just to be on the safe side. So in your case, I'd stick with 125g of protein.
  • As everone says, you can keep running if that's what you enjoy, but the price to pay is that you will be eating more food in order to be in a surplus. The maintenance + 250 calories still applies here for a lean bulk, but because you're running a lot, chances are that your maintenance is quite high.
  • It depends on your genetics, it could be literally the last part where it will lose weight.
  • I just estimate visually. It's not precise, but I look for ballpark numbers, not precision.
  • I wasn't hating you for it,lol. I know it's all about personal preference or using whatever means necessary to stick with one's goal.
  • One of the reasons why I would never do keto or any diet that bans certain foods. It would feel like being arrested for a crime I didn't commit.
  • Smith machines should be eliminated...period. They basically do most of the work for you. I will never understand gyms that let machines do most of the work for you unless you have injuries preventing you from going to your maximum. In Canada, we have a similar thing like Planet Fitness called Buzzfit and there has been…
  • Unless you're obese, it may be possible or if you're lean and go the annorexic route and even then I question if you still can. Just lose weight at a sustainable rate, it's a marathon, not a sprint...there is absolutely no reason why you should damage your health for 20 lbs.
  • What you thought was eating 1200 calories wasn't trully eating 1200 calories. You were probably eating more without knowing it. At 1200 calories, you would definitely lose weight had you been really eating at that amount, unless you're a short sedentary dwarf that requires you to eat less than 1200 calories to lose…
  • I'd like to add that just make sure your fats are not too low, I did that mistake once and it's no fun. I've always been a high protein, high carbs kind of guy....but knowing what I know now, I always make sure I hit my minimum when it comes to fats, they can *kitten* up your hormones if they're consistently too low and it…
  • With 3000+ calories I eat daily, there is no so-called cheat meal, I can easily fit any food I want into my diet. Believe it or not, if there's two types of foods I enjoy, anything with coconut and Lobster with garlic butter. I can't get enough of these two.

  • I used to do it, but it wasn't for me, it felt like a hassle. Mind you, it wasn't really carb cycling, but rather calorie cycling.

  • Thanks. Well at 10-12% body fat and with a shirt on, the thin wrists combined with a small waste does give me the impression of looking and feeling small.....It could also be because before I started to lift 5 years ago, I used to be a really skinny guy. Nonetheless, I feel more comfortable when I am heavier and my goal is…
  • Pointless it's not, but because I hate cardio, I just don't do them for selfish reasons. For health, it's a valuable too, but my metabolism is quite high and combined with my hatred for cardio, I just ditch it.
  • If you're truly at 14% body fat which I doubt, you shouldn't be cutting at all.

  • There aren't any, you pick the foods you enjoy and fit it in your calories intake which should be your maintenance + 250-500 calories (depending how many years of lifting you have under your belt, the newer you are, the more you should be near 500 calories, the more experienced you are, you should be near the 200-250…
  • Good, then makes my decision easier....heavier it is.
  • I don't measure my body fat either, I just go by my pictures updates and I can tell what my body fat is. I am comfortable being heavier, but like I said, I just wanted to make sure there's no negative impact on my health if I bulk and cut in the 13-14% to 18-20% body fat range. If there's no issue, I would simply do that…
  • Well technically doing 14-19% bf range is still technically a 5% bf difference just like 10-15% body fat would be, so the cut wouldn't be that long, it would be the same amount of time.
  • Oh I have no doubt, but question was just regarding health, if there were any cons of bulking and cutting at higher body fat.
  • visual estimation, I estimate (picture on the right) to be in the 10-12% body fat, but you can be the judge. You can also see my thin wrists. I know that I am not below that, last year I went down to 155 lbs and I was able to see some veins near my abs, I knew back then I was below 10%. Not this time around (I stopped…
  • So if I understood correctly (correct me if I'm wrong), he doesn't recommend I go above the 15% body fat. It was hard for me to completely understand the whole thing, but I think I understood that above 15%, the fat cells accelerate beyond that point.
  • Like everyone says, caloric deficit is all you need for weight loss, cardio for health. I always cut without doing any planned session of cardio, because my metabolism is already high due to my high NEAT and the fact in some ways, I actually am doing some sort of LISS (Low-Intensity Sustained State cardio incase you were…
  • Like any muscles, you need to develop them through training in order to make them get thicker and stronger....of course, if you have a high body fat%, they will likely hide underneath the fat. The more years of experience at the gym, the more your abs can pop out a little bit through higher body fat % (up to a certain…
