Peaches!! It is the season where I live and I love them!

Making my own bread is a great idea!

Thanks everyone... your feedback really helps! I am also a sucker for English Muffins and have even tried my hand at making them. At this moment, I have half a dozen in the freezer! I think I am going to seek out the Dave's Killer Bread: I have never seen it nor tried it, but now I am on a mission!

DX2JX2... I am not limiting myself to wheat bread... I do eat all varieties (really love rye bread!), I have just had more issues finding a decent wheat one.

Maybe put some specifics out there. Are you looking for snacks, meals or entrees etc?

Increasing my endurance on the treadmill at an incline... I am still fast walking, but want to graduate to running. I am not there yet, but I WILL get there!

Cucumbers and tomatoes right now.... BUT celery with a little nut butter is also good!

You are so right, it isn't easy, but it IS doable! Congratulations on your progress!

Personally, I HATE to waste food so I eat the whole egg... I just don't cook it in a lot of fat. A typical breakfast for me is: Whole wheat English muffin with Canadian bacon, a hard boiled or poached egg, and a small amount of pepper-jack cheese. Sometimes I will put several spinach leaves on the sandwich while it is hot.…

Nope, not on Keto. I am doing exactly what you are... counting calories and exercising. So far, I am happy and feel a ton better!

Totally agree with the probiotics, fiber in it's natural form (fruits and veggies) and plenty of water. I also have been known to drink slightly warmed water in the morning (before eating or drinking anything) which gets things on the move within minutes for me!

Well.... you sound like you have it all worked out! Add me if you want, I plan to be around for quite a while and would love another friend to be connected with on this journey!

I cannot say it is my FAVORITE alternative exercise, but it takes me about 40 minutes to vacuum my entire house and I am sweating buckets by the time I am finished!

I have only been on MFP for a couple of weeks, but I really like it so far. I'll be a buddy as I am fairly new as well. Friend me!

What a success story! That is my goal as well... reverse diabetes and to get off of those meds!

Maybe the key is to not go "crazy" for the whole weekend... maybe just for a meal or for an event. That way, you don't undo all of the hard work you have put in during the week. I find it hard to get to the gym over the weekend, but I still try to do some stretching / resistance work at least on Saturday so that the Monday…

I agree with CMRiverside... if the morning doesn't work out, then take a walk at lunch or on break. My job is at a desk so, every opportunity I have to get up I do and I use the stairs every day! It is difficult to MAKE time that is really just for you, but you are worth that time... do not make yourself the last priority!
