Ah yeah that makes sence thank you! I’ll see how I go! I lose 3.5 stone eating 1200 + my exercise cals last year but I’ve put just over a stone back on so this time I’ve upped my calories.

I usually warm up and walk for around 5 mins then jog for 10 mins then have a little 3/4 mins walk and then jog again for as long as I can (usually never more than 10 mins) then walk again. After I have finished jogging I put the incline up :)

Thanks so much for your reply. I do jumping jacks at home and enjoy that! I would like to try the stair stepper too. There’s been a few times where I’ve just been on the treadmill for up to 1 hour walking,jogging and it has got boring so I do agree mixing it up a bit makes it more fun 😬

Thank you for your reply. No I joined in February I was showed how to use the cardio machines because that’s all I was interested in at the time. The gym I go to the gym instructor is always sitting in the office at the reception but there are never in the gym unless they are checking, I feel like I don’t want to bother…

You can start slowly, and you can find a lot of videos online to show you. Don't shy away from free weights, either. I'm a cardio king. I like riding a road bike over mountain passes. I'm telling you to add some weights because it's genuinely good for everybody. Lifting weights won't help you lose weight really, but it'll…

Thanks for your reply. Soo.. I do about half an hour to 40 mins on the treadmill jogging for around 5/8 mins at a time then walk for a couple then back to jogging.. I am so unfit on the treadmill and I jog on a 6 but I keep getting a stitch in my side so I can’t jog too long. I spend about 15 mins on the bike on a incline…

Also I didn’t think loosing 3 and a half stone in 7 months was that bad... I know people who go to weight watchers and slimming world loose 5 pound a week. But thanks for the advice I’ll take it slower now :)

Thank you! I’m going to up my daily calories! I’ts not been every week I’ve been loosing 3 pounds. But I have lost the motivation I started off 13.12 I’m now 10.05 and 5ft 4.

I don’t even look at macros I just calorie count. I have lost 3 and a half stone just calorie counting so as long as I’m loosing the weight I’m not fussed about macros :)

Ah thanks so much!! So if I don’t feel hungry I don’t have to eat them back ? I always thought I had too. And say I am a little hungry after exercising if I burn around 600 calories maybe only eat about 200 calorie back?

Oh yes I never thought that could be the reason. Thanks! Yes 1200 is my calorie goal a day. However if I’m going to the gym I do eat a little more as apparently you should eat back the calories you’ve burned?

Every week I have lost 1-2lb since doing this in February and that has worked for me so what I’m wondering is why it has stopped now. Since I started I have eat 1200 calories a day and more when I go to the gym. And women arnt recommend to eat less than 1200 a day.

Yeah so I am 1200 and I can’t go any lower than that. I’ve really worked my butt of at the gym this week so I was a bit gutted to see the same weight again. As I was saying before I can’t seem to run longer than 2 mins before I get out of breath lol. So I have to walk 2 mins and then run 2 mins. I probably look so stupid as other people who are on the treadmill can run for ages. But I know I’ve only been exercising for 8 weeks so hopefully In time I will get better

Yeah I am tracking all my food. so I started off 13 stone 12lb and I have lost 18 pounds I’m just over 8 weeks so I know I am loosing weight I’m just not sure what’s the best equipment to use at the gym.
