MAPS Anabolic Day 1 Phase 1! Back to doing some real programming, although I'll have to say goodbye to loading the spine for a while. Not even front squats. Luckily, I truly think bulgarian split squats are just as effective.

1. Protein at every meal, esp breakfast 25-30g 2. Add fats and protein with carbs in snacks. Just carbs is not filling.

Ohhh which one?

Peanut butter baby

Did a full body lifting session today, but very light still since I am still recovering from a viral infection. I think I will return to my regularly scheduled volume next time!
-
Yesterday I did...NOTHING! I got my PMI CAPM cert (proj mgmt) and indulged in delicious skin-on chicken thights and a quest pb cup. yum.
-
Frankly maybe the first one Geographically and safely available in 2021 when this crap is over!

I know that I lift more weight with coffee in me!!
-
Been thinking about it but man it costs so much!! It’s all in the posing though for sure. I always tell myself that if I get 30 mins of posing practice I could do well.

Please do not throw in the towel. I say give it another week!

Not sure what your goals are, but elliptical was my godsend when my knees gave out. I also JUST read another person's success story of losing 8lbs in one month with just building habits, including elliptical daily! Hope you find this inspiring and keep it up!

I did a lighter full body workout!!! Had to cut it short but was glad to do SOME lifting for the first time in about a month!

Yea, toss the number. After a month of taking some time off of heavier weights, I went to the gym and was just humbled by 2 sets per body part. Getting back to where I was will certainly take more time than I thought, but happy to have gotten it done today. In this time off, illness/herniated disc, I lost some weight...I…
-
Thanks all :) I started doing 20 mins of yoga a day to try and keep some core strength to counteract the herniated disc.
-
20 min yoga w Adrienne and 10K steps.

You need to have a Snoopy thanksgiving!!

The quest Pb cups are actually amazing. p

You inspired me a few weeks ago I tried a dance video by them! You are a badass

Rant I’m sorry: ARG!! I am getting hit w all the medical issues. Back injury is either pinched nerve, herniated disc, MS, or all three. I have flu-like symptoms so getting tested. I JUST WANT TO TRAIN but I know taking some time off to reset is ok.

yes! I just thought of facepulls and i guess rear delt pulls from the seated row machine. we are just going to leave OHP out for now.....don't want to risk it. It doesn't hurt but we are avoiding loading my spine for now.
-
We are avoiding hip hinge. Ah I haven’t tried leg press or glute ham raise yet but I’ll give it a while!
-
Guys I am so excited. I worked with my PT and we figured out ways to work around my back injury (we still think it’s a bulging disc/pinched nerve). No more squats but will try goblet squats next time. If it’s a no go, sticking w Bulgarian split squats. No DLs. Hip thrusts! Thrust is a must. No RDLs or lying leg curls.…

Ironically, the doc was like 'pls continue to lift weights, we don't want you to become any weaker!!'
-
Update: Tragically was sent to the hospital and now a neurologist to see what this back pain is about. Sigh*
