I do follow a structured program from the forum that you posted. I do a 3 day muscle split because thats the amount of days I could go to the gym with my school and work schedule.

I started taking on seriois mass protein powder yesterday to help me reach my 4k calorie intake a little bit easier instead of taking all frok food such as (steak,chicken,etc)

I don’t see any noticable increase on my lifts either and I lift hard as much as I can.

Almost 2 weeks. I’ve been bulking since november where i started at 2600 calories but kept increasing cause I couldn’t see any weight gain.

Right. I was just wondering if there’s a difference with muscle growth or gaining less fat with eating more densed food than actually eating more volume of food.

It’s just weird cause I feel like I’ve already been eating a lot and I track my good accurately by weighing every single food and drink that I take in but yeah I will try to up it up to around 3,000 calories or 3200. I actually thought I was already gaining weight when my weight reached 145 but then it started going back…

Thanks man! I wouldn’t mind a slower progress as I’m not in a hurry to more muscles plus winter is coming up so I’d rather be eating at around maintenance than cutting! Lol!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I would just do a body recomp even if the progress is slower. Body recomp means eating at maintenance right?

I would really love to bulk and gain some muscle but I know that if you have too much fat, you won’t really gain a lot of muscle when you bulk so that’s where I’m at right now cause I don’t mind gaining some fat as long as I am gaining muscle as well. I love carbs so I was happy when I increased my calories but then again I don’t want to be bloated every night so I’ll just add more fat. More burger patties and steak! Lol!

Will do! Thanks so much for the tips! I would probably take a break from cut for at least 2 weeks and just do maintenance as I really want to eat more food especially I’m travelling for the next 2 weeks.

I was also taking in at least 140-150g or more protein per day. I domt think I’ve lost any muscle mass or at least minimal cause I was able to lift more on compound lifts and maintain my isolation lifts weight.

I did 5x5 for quite a while then recently I tried doing a 5 day split of one muscle group per day and I actually liked it since it made me feel better going to the gym 5x instead of 3x. I was 159lbs when I started and now I’m at 143. I started march 21 so its almost been 4 months. I simed a 1lbs/week weight loss

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve looked up a lot about recomp but its really slow so I will just cut on a .5lbs/wk instead of 1lbs/week so I could eat a little bit more. Do you think I should cut till I see my abs before bulking?

I’ve been lifting since I started my cut. Actually, i’ve been lifting since 2015 but never really cared about my diet and just ate anything I wanted.
