I just started this month, but I don’t really keep track on what I eat. I weighed myself everyday. Exercise 2-3times a week, high intensity workout. Yes. Yes, that’s the plan because I thought it was normal to lose 0.5-1kg a week. I feel like if I lose only 0.5 pounds aka 0.22 kg.... did I lose water weight or what. My life is pretty sedentary and I workout only 3 times a week.

Ok but I don’t understand. If I don’t have enough fat then why my macros said I’m over my fat intake? I’m only trying to lose 20 pounds and for my weight this app recommended the 1200 calorie diet. I’m only following the calorie deficit diet.

Yes, from BMI. I’m normal size but not in my ideal weight so time to lose a few pounds. But weight on the scale can be deceiving. I was 118lbs before and I feel like shi*, kind of look gaunt and unealthy too but now at 130lbs I feel lighter and great. I’m trying to lose fat percentage though and at least be 120lbs.

Thankyou for your info! I usually eat homemade meals so even if I use salt, garlic powder, etc. I still make sure to add them on app. I’m hoping to lose 1kg every week but last week I was still the same weight, only lost a few points which I’m guessing is water weight. I’m currently on a 1200 calories diet and I don’t limit myself. I eat carbs. Fruits, veggies, rice, those are carbs. I tried to avoid eating processed foods though but I don’t want to restrict myself too much and as long as I’m eating in my calorie limit, I still lose weight.

I think it works for some people but definitely not me. If I eat intuitively, I don’t lose weight but maintain instead.

So Intermittent fasting basically is I can eat anything as long as it’s in my window meal? I can eat burger, cheesecake, etc as long as I’m eating only for 8hrs a day? I don’t think it’s going to work unless you’re obese/ overweight. I still believe in calorie deficit diet instead of this.
