Thanks all. Will definitely tweak the numbers for the next couple of weeks to see how I get on. I started off pretty hard on exercise to burn extra calories for weekends but quickly got over tired in the first few weeks. Thinking eating a little less during the week (I spend most of the day at my desk) will be a good start!

I've only been back logging for 2 weeks, but for me this time round - it's all about flexibility. Just figuring out a calorie and activity level that will give me a 750 cal deficit each week. At the minute thats a daily calorie goal of 2000 and a weekly calorie burn of 19000. Calulated via Fitbit HR tracker.

Watch out for the Inspire HR - I purchased it when I broke my apple watch. It is water/swim proof but doesn't track your heart rate while swimming. Annoying because it was definitely marketed as a swim watch!
