I'm thinking maybe all this new exercise over the past few days is responsible for the uptick in weight. I had a dream that I was taking my measurements and my…

  • I took ozempic for 2 years and barely lost anything. Maybe 3-5 pounds. I still felt hungry a lot of the time. I exercised and tried to limit my calories. I just didn't have success with it. However, I stopped taking it and gained 20 pounds. Fast forward to now. I started taking rybelsus about 4 months ago. It's in pill…

Slowly and healthily is the way to go. Glad you are taking care of yourself and having success. @HappyDonkey75 I'm so sad to hear about the elderly…
  • @Emkaygirl1 Well done!!! I know the feeling of having a great healthy day and wanting to share. It’s a great feeling because you realize you can do it! :)

My scale reads something different every time I step on it. I will put it on the same place on the bathroom floor and weigh myself and step…
  • Heaviest weight: 179 Goal weight: 140 Nov 6: 167 Nov 8: 166.5 Nov 12: 165 Nov 13: 167 Well, I guess it was going to happen. A high fluctuation for seemingly no reason. It doesn’t bother me as I know it’s just how it goes. I walked for 1 and 1/2 hours today and kept under my calorie goal so I’m still on track. You’re all…
  • @HappyDonkey75 I understand not wanting to go to the chiropractor and getting cracked! I went to a chiropractor for a stiff neck years ago. I let her do what she needed to except I wouldn’t let her “crack” my neck! I was just so afraid she would permanently injure me! @ManifestingToday Thanks for sending great energy and…
  • Have a great day everyone, and all the best with your goals! :)
  • Heaviest weight: 179 Goal weight: 140 Nov 6: 167 Nov 8: 166.5 Nov 12: 165 My weight is dropping! It hasn't always been this way so it's a relief. I've reached my goal weight for December 25th so my new December 25th goal is 162. @ManifestingToday Your weight is dropping nicely too! Well done. We have the same goal. We can…
  • I recently increased my dose of rybelsus to 14mg and for the first time while on this medication I really am experiencing a decrease in appetite. I’m very hopeful that I can continue to lose weight. I just don’t want to eat when I’m not hungry. It’s a relief! I have a bag of opened chips on the counter and I don’t want…
  • Heaviest weight: 179 Goal weight: 140 Nov 6: 167 Nov 8: 166.5 My mini goal was to reach 165 by Christmas but I’m losing faster now. I think I will reach my goal sooner and can maybe set a new mini goal for Christmas.
  • Heaviest weight: 179 Goal weight: 140 Nov 3: 169 Nov 4: 167 The scale is moving again!
  • I lost about 15 pounds without medication but my weight loss stalled for over a year so I tried ozempic. Unfortunately It didn't help. So I stopped taking it and gained 20 pounds in a year. I guess it was doing something. I spoke to my doctor and started rybelsus this year. I lost 10 pounds in 6 weeks and then stalled for…
  • heaviest weight: 179 current weight: 169 goal weight: 140 I have a total of about 30 lbs to lose. Already lost 10, but my weight loss has stalled for the past month. My goal for November is to get the scale moving down again. I'll be walking a lot this week so hoping that will help.
  • @Julieann404 I love ritz crackers! I can’t stop eating them. That’s the problem. I will eat half the box. 😂
  • I’ve been taking it for 8 weeks. I’ve lost about 10 pounds but have stalled for the past week or two. Not sure what caused the stall. I felt hungrier than usual. I was getting over the flu so maybe my body needed the nourishment. I think I’m back on track again. I find focusing on protein and fibre really helpful. If I eat…
  • I injured my knee years ago while exercising and eventually went to see my doctor. She sent me to a physiotherapist and it helped tremendously but you have to do the exercises they recommend. The first time I went to physio I did my exercises once in a while and didn’t see any improvement. It took going again years later…

  • Great job! I am at 164lbs and want to lose 25 more pounds. I recently gained 4-5 pounds so working to get those pounds off. That's my mini goal. I had a good day today and think I'm on the right path. I'm wishing you continued success!!
  • @dianalmay8 That’s great to hear! Thanks for sharing your experience. My concern has always been that I will gain the weight back after stopping ozempic. I see that it doesn’t have to happen as long as you keep your calories in check and exercise.
  • To see 155 on the scale. I’ve been hovering between 156 and 159 for a very long time.
  • My mini goal is to do strength training twice a week and to include vegetables or fruit with every meal. I’ll see how things are looking a month from now and go from there. Hoping to lose a solid 3 lbs in the next month and a half. Slowly but surely!
  • I went from 10lb dumbbells to 12lb dumbbells and think I can soon go a bit heavier. Thrilled I’m making progress! Also instead of candy at night i had some sweet juicy pineapple.
  • I’ve been taking Ozempic for over a year and have not seen much of a weight change. Under 5 lbs. I’ve been trying but haven’t watched what I eat closely enough or exercised consistently enough. Ozempic isn’t a magic pill. At least it’s not for me. I do have to put the work in by decreasing my calories and increasing my…
  • I think celery has a very distinct flavour too. I tried it with hummus and kind of enjoyed it. Better than the cream cheese I thought. I’m making a chicken stock right now out of chicken bones, celery, onions and carrots. I like celery cooked. I have 2 stalks left. I think I’ll try peanut butter on one and use the other…
  • After many years of disliking raw celery I finally decided I would give it another try. Well. I still can’t say I like it. I love the crunch but don’t like the taste. I have tried it with cream cheese. Seems like a waste of cream cheese. I will try it with various other things such as peanut butter, hummus, maybe some…
  • Homemade broccoli soup for dinner. However for lunch I had a burger and a beer so it all evens out! 😊
  • Food scale Water Eggs Meat/poultry Vegetables
  • I’m Canadian and we all call it pop. I like my diet ginger ale. I have about a cup twice a day. I also have a soda stream so I make sparkling water a lot. I guess I like the bubbles. I drank regular pop as a kid but had no trouble transitioning to diet and I actually prefer it. I find regular pop too sweet!
  • I tried on a black mini skirt I used to wear when I was much slimmer. I thought I wouldn't be able to get it over my thighs. Turned out that not only could I get it over my thighs but my hips too. I couldn't zip it up but it was so much closer to fitting than I thought it would be. I remember how great this skirt looked…
