Dinner last night was weird because I ordered a big salad for takeout but they forgot the chicken and by the time I realized it it was too late. So I had to eat a second dinner of sorts. Which meant some sodium close to bedtime.

Thanks @CorvusCorax77 ! Your workout schedule is inspiring 💪🏻🙌🏻

Well I woke up sick yesterday and didn’t even bother to weigh myself! Today is my oldest’s birthday and he asked for Alfredo and an ice cream cake for dinner. I feel like I’ll have no problem at all with just tasting a bit and not eating a huge portion. Sweets aren’t my temptation at all thankfully!

I hope everyone is having a great Thursday!

Feb 6 204 pms and not been eating great. Going to my first Zumba tonight since feeling better. Hope I don’t hack up a lung. Unfortunately I didn’t get to go. I was coughing and and was too tired to go.
    Feb 7 203.5
Feb 11 203 went to my happy place (Disney) over the weekend so I’m glad not a hike with the salty foods at Epcot. Did notice with all the walking that my lungs are definitely not at full capacity. :(
Feb 14 203 guess just glad not gaining. Still haven’t tried working out. Just getting my step goal in at work. Did take a walk around the neighborhood the other day. 80s are ending for now and it will be in the 60s this upcoming week.

@ManifestingToday thank you! I didn’t realize my lungs were that bad still. Glad I didn’t go to Zumba last week. It would have ended badly.

I know exactly why I'm back where I started. I made lasagna for the fam Wed night, homemade rolls then hubby and I went out to dinner last night and I had french dip and french fries. I need to be more disciplined and make better choices. I start off with good intentions then my brain and emotions don't have my back. I'll get there.

@tishsmith101 - those yummy temptations are tough.. I have to literally prepare my healthy option for myself when family meals like this are available, or in the case of going out to a dinner party or dinner at a restaurant I will eat something ahead of time. Then I can have 'tastes' of the not so healthy options if I want to and not be drooling or run the risk of over eating something I shouldn't. Its stinks to have to do this but its the only way I have found that I can keep myself in check. Then

Happy Valentines Day . No elaborate plans here..

I slept a bit better last night but yesterday was another crazy day work. My boss (who's only been my boss since December) pushed me past my "nice" point . Unfortunately the GenX female who is pretty much unwilling to tolerate bs came through strong yesterday. I have my limits . She is younger "ish" and forgets some of us have been at this career quite a while..

ANYWHO.. I focused on protein water and fiber and then had a steak salad for dinner. I was pretty stressed and caught myself a couple times thinking about reaching for the not so healthy snack choices like chips or my lily's low sugar chocolate bar.. but I resisted. I did give myself permission to have a few Bequet caramels after dinner last night. (those things are so good) Trying to allow myself those sweets in moderation here and there so I don't have another day like the other one..

    Feb 11 - 168 - deadlift day + run 2 miles (net cal over 128)
    Feb 12 - 170 - Rest day (net cal under 175)
    Feb 13 - 167.8 - ran 2 miles, bench press day /pendlay rows (calories over 252)
    Feb 14 -168.6 -

I am starting to feel like I need to adjust some of my eating. Specifically, less food from restaurants (let's be real: taco trucks) and more home cooking. There's probably more hidden calories in the food I'm eating than I am accounting for (even though I'm trying to be as honest as possible with my logging).

Other than that, I'm trusting the process still even though the number on the scale says the same thing it said a whole *kitten* month ago.

I rarely do but I bought a pack of chicken tenders. Well, I've been eating them over the past 2 days and whatdayaknow, I saw an uptick in weight. All that sodium I'm guessing. Hopefully it's temporary. I'm feeling better. My palate still hasn't healed though. It's hard to eat.

I sanded down some surfaces for painting and then went for a long hike in blizzardy weather. Very very physically active day. So I’m sure the bump up on the scale is muscle recovery. It may take a day or two more to calm down

    2.16- DNW

I am not really sure I even have a good explanation for that number. I know I have not been tracking my food so that could be part of it. I needed a break but I am going to get back to that this week.
Nonetheless I was pretty mad yesterday at that number so I sort of punished myself a bit with my workout.. But I had huge amounts of energy so it actually felt good. We went to dinner last night and I got sick from the meal. It was too heavy and did not sit well. I ate pretty lightly today .
    I will weigh in tomorrow.

SO MUCH SNOW Here and still snowing. I shoveled alot today and already hit 8K steps by noon from housecleaning and shoveling .

Have a good rest of your Sunday everyone

I was looking at my Withings app for my scale history and realized I had dates and weigh ins misaligned a because I had a couple of DNW and accidently plugged in weights for those dates. Nonetheless below are corrected values.

It will be the first time I have pulled out the snowshoes this year.. actually in two years. And then this afternoon off to the hot springs for an afternoon soak.. drive might be dicey but we will go slow!

Have a great day Monday everyone.

I need a new Fitbit, might tie that purchase to a getting back under 170.

3 days of snowing and I decided I may as well embrace it . I did get out for good snowshoe workout, probably more than I bargained for. It was alot of post holing because I don't have groomed trails to enjoy out my backdoor. Snow was 18 " or deeper with no base, all fluffy powder . It took me an hour to only go 1/2 mile. I literally could only go about 30 steps before I had to stop to catch my breath . It felt like my heart was going to jump right out of my chest but my recoveries were good so that's a plus. It was a very hard workout and I was drenched in sweat when I got back. But it felt good to push myself like that.

Our weather is supposed to start warming into the 40's soon so all this white stuff is going to start melting and then ofcourse freezing overnight so now comes the ice ..

I am very ready to hear birds singing and warmer days with no white stuff 🌴🌴🌴😎🌻☀️
