  • @memere101 My plans for the day are: 1) 2 mike walk on the river front 2) Football... playing catch with my son and then he will practice punting and I will be chasing down the ball and returning it. This usually ends up in an all out full contact weird sort of tag game with all 3 boys. 3) Tearing apart the master bedroom.…
  • @acaliforniadreamer.... I log all my exercises as my doctor looks at my app when I go in for checkups. He is looking at macros and minutes of exercise and then compares it to my lab work. As he says “I like being difficult” as he often gets false positive test results for me. Being able to see what I am doing and comparing…
  • My advice would be to work on your mindset first. I find that if you think of it as a diet you are doomed to struggle. It’s our natural rebellious nature taking over. Think of it as a lifestyle change. It takes 28 days to create a habit. What is the one thing that you can do this week to make you a priority? When my…
  • I make my own trail mix (store bought ones have soy (I’m allergic) and too much sodium). When I have a chocolate craving I throw in some dark chocolate chips: Also you can take chocolate protein powder and turn it into a pudding. And pb fit makes it taste like a Reese. Or just go plain chocolate and add real whipped cream…
  • I do different things depending upon the season. • Hi Everyone! So excited to start this challenge. Stats... Height: 5’3” SW: 240 (January 2018) CW: 221 (June 1) Goal: 210 by July 5 (next checkup) Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? 10 minutes stretching, 5141 steps, 14 flights of stairs, and I haven’t gone for my evening walk yet. Did I stay within my calorie budget?…
  • Down 16 and 96 to go
  • My goal on my Fitbit is 6000. If I am carrying something. Pushing something, or holding onto the railing while climbing stairs.... my steps don’t count. Since this is a majority of my day, I think it is counting just under half of my steps. The other day I recorded each time I used the stairs. I counted 1 trip up the down…

  • I gave up trying to use that function and just use it for alarms, steps, and text messages when I’m away from my phone. I have noticed that if I am carrying something or pushing a wheelchair my steps don’t count. I’m a staffing coordinator for a nursing facility. May Day is spent delivering documents to be signed,…
  • Protein Balls Peanut butter, chai seeds, flax seed, steel cut oats, honey, and carob chips

  • Hi! New here as well. I have lost 16 lbs in the last 5 months and hoping June will be my bfavorite at month yet! Looking forward to getting to know all of you.
  • Welcome to the thyroid issues world! It has taken me 5 months to lose 16 pounds with the help of my doctor. Even he seems frustrated and he specializes in weight loss for those who are weight loss resistant. I wish I could tell you the prescription will make it all better but that’s not necessarily true. Try googling…
  • I have lost 16 and need to lose another 96. Please add me
  • I have a charge 2 and have had it for a year. Found out that to do a hard sync it has to be sitting on my phone. Not sure why but I could that hit online and as soon as I put my watch on my phone and I hen opened the app it worked. It has been working well ever since
  • I went to the link provided and the discussion is already closed. This also says for March. Is this the correct link?

  • I agree with @nickylee76 ... I don’t want to be middle aged. I just turned 40! My go to workout is stair climbing, walking, chasing/throwing the football (my son is a kicker), breaking up wrestling matches, etc... I was active with crossfit but our gym recently closed.
  • What are you eating? I find that if I don’t have enough protein that I get hungry again quickly and go searching for a snack
  • I contact tech support and they said some people have this feature and some don’t. I am really not happy about this as I am a visual person.
  • Ia m 5’4” doc wants me to lose 96... I would be happy with losing 50
  • I was told that the hip flexor is the biggest muscle that one forgets to exercise that leads to a flatter stomach. Maybe try working on that instead of the abs
  • Love this! Thank you!
  • I was 27 when I had emergency hysterectomy... I went in for stage 4 endometriosis, andometriosis, and the removal of cysts and fibroids. They discovered I had ovarian cancer and instead of a clean up took everything. It was a surprise when I woke up but saved my life. I can’t have HRT but was told the younger you are when…
  • I take 2000 IU daily and a bolster dose of 55000 IU every other week. My doctor says to always take within an hour of waking up.
  • I have a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens 18,15, and 13) and we spend $650/month. We eat out 2x a month which costs an addition $100-$150 depending on where we go. I do not purchase anything processed or with soy do to severe food allergies. We do fresh produce, meat, and some dairy. Everything from scratch. Lots of bulk…
  • Mine is open as well
  • Make sure your doctor checks your vitamin D levels. Most doctors don’t and your body can’t process the thyroid hormones prescribed without it. My doctor has me on 1000-1100 calories each day. It is easily sustainable for me as I have a lot of food allergies that mean what I am not allergic to is typically lower in…
