  • Wishing the person outside under my balcony would stop having a conversation with someone through their CAR SPEAKERS like a monster with their doors all flung open so we all have to hear every word at top volume. Also cuddling my cat
  • Hi Joe! I started on Ozempic a month and a half ago and would love some friends on a similar path. Shooting you a friend request. :)
  • Hey all, coming back to track and get motivated after taking a break to get my mental health right this past year and a half. Anyway, I'm looking for like-minded friends and accountability buddies. Little about me, I'm Fae, f/49, LGBT pagan, married to the loml for 17 years this fall. Childfree, living in the Washington DC…
  • i hate dunkin drinks but my go to coffee in general is cold brew, no sugar oat milk, 2 pumps sugar free raspberry syrup and a swirl of sugar free canned whip. i make it at home so i can flavor it however i like with less or no sugar options. when i do go to the store i just get regular oat milk and the sugar free vanilla…
  • raspberry sugar free syrup for drinks. i use it in my coffee and iced tea, it's delicious and i'm obsessed. also burgers, it's all i want to eat lately.
  • Hi all. I've recently started on Ozempic a month ago and am currently on a 0.5 dose. At .25 I felt very little hunger, but at .5 the hunger has returned somewhat. I fill up quickly but I do get quite hungry in between meals. I've only lost about 4 pounds total, so about 1 pound a week which is fine, I'm just a bit…
  • Hey all, coming back to track and get motivated after a year and a half of wallowing in depression and isolation. Stupid pandemic. Anyway, I'm looking for like-minded friends and accountability buddies on here, female preferred, please. Little about me, I'm F/46, LGBT woman, married to the loml for 16 years this fall.…
  • I want one so bad - even though it just means I'll be buying yet another copy of Skyrim lol. Maybe I'll make a Switch a stretch goal reward.
  • Mine's open, I log everything even when I'm a little embarrassed by it lol. Feel free to add me!
  • Running. Like, as a necessary evil to achieve goals, yes. For fun? Good lord, no.
  • YUCK! Curry (japanese curry especially)
  • For me body positivity is about accepting my body in the shape it is currently and also embracing changes to it - whether intentional or not. I've lost 80 pounds from my highest weight, but my BP isn't about my body being smaller, even though it is. It's accepting where I am right now. Right now I have loose skin and a bum…
  • I find if I vary my calories in, then it can help kickstart when I've flatlined. Like one day I'll eat 1500, then 1200, then 1300, then 1200, etc. Variety seems to help me from plateauing. Or it has so far, I try never to hit my calorie goal as set out by MFP, because it's not really a 'goal', it's a MAX, and you don't…

  • Maid, for sure. I'm a decent cook so a chef isn't necessary, and I live in Washington DC where we have a great public transit system so I don't need help getting around, but man do I hate housework. It never ends! You finish doing something and it doesn't stay done, it just needs cleaning again the next day, week, month,…
  • I weigh every day because I don't get worked up over the minor fluctuations and like having a fully fleshed out graph to look at of my weight loss over time. Some people are upset by fluctuations. My wife, for example, only weighs once a week because she's interested in seeing true losses/gains only, which is fine. I…
  • Mine sync properly currently, fingers crossed it stays that way.
  • Motivation is weak, discipline is better, but when both fail, habit is what works. I'm bipolar and have extreme anxiety, so motivation is slim to none on even my best days. Discipline can often be lacking as well, but the habit of doing the same thing every day, day in and day out, has been what works for me. It might…
  • I was really scared as an older woman over 200lbs when I first started going to the gym, very self conscious and worried people would stare or laugh. Not a single person even noticed I was there. One guy smiles at me when he sees me cause we seem to work out at the same time so we cross paths a lot, but that's it. No one…
  • My wife is having a hard time staying on track with snacks, so I just have her bring them to work and she eats them there, not at home. I do all the shopping, so that helps too, I don't buy junk, so if she wants it, she has to go get it herself and then it stays at work so I'm not tempted. I wish she wouldn't eat that…
  • Are you eating back your exercise calories? If you're overestimating what you eat elsewhere or overestimating your burn, eating back exercise calories might actually put you over for the day. Try not eating those calories back for a week and see if the scale moves.

  • I reward myself with video games. Daily if I meet my goal then I can play as much as I want. If I meet my goals daily for a whole month, then I get either a new game or, if there's no games I want, a DLC for an existing game or some kind of in game upgrades maybe. I'm a nerd, so this works for me. Decide what you're…
  • i have very similar stats and goals! started in March at 248, down to 212 currently, final goal is around 145-150. f/44/5'4". my current short term goal is to be out of the 200s by my 45th birthday in August. I'm always looking for more supportive friends to help each other reach our goals! add me please
  • current mini goal is to be under two hundred by the end of summer. my 45th birthday is at the end of August and i want to start the second half of my life at a weight i haven't seen since i turned 30. I'm currently at 213 (down from 248 in January and down from 288 at my highest) and I'm confident I'll hit that goal,…
  • i got a frappuccino at Starbucks the other night as a cheat-y dessert after dinner and only managed two sips before tossing it, it was sooooo sweet and gross.
  • I don't eat them. I don't really trust any calorie calculator entirely, not enough to tell myself "I can have cake today because I walked 3 miles and earned 400 calories" or whatever. If I want cake, I make room for cake in my daily allotment of deficit calories and exercise is done for its own sake. This has been working…
  • All protein is not created equal, imo. I will certainly find 30 grams of chicken protein far more satiating than 30 grams of whey powder protein, for instance. The same with calories, I find 150 calories of eggs more satiating than 150 calories of almonds. Studies don't mean anything, figure out what works for you, for your…
  • Instant pot soft boiled eggs (two minutes pressure cook then quick release, into an ice bath, shelled and eat! Perfect gooey yolks with fully set whites every time) and some lovely fresh strawberries. It was a really nice start to the day.
  • Jerks who listen to their music without headphones. I walk a beautiful nature trail near my house every day, it's gorgeous and there's a stream burbling alongside the path, birds and little animals scurrying - it's like a Disney animation come to life. I love it. And most of the time everyone I see is super friendly and…
