  • No, it's not needed for weight loss but doesn't it really enhance the effort? I'm trying to get more bang for my buck and it really is something I believe in. Eating on keto is more of my way of eating normally. I just consider keto a little added insurance on my weight loss journey.
  • So then I'll ask the question - does it matter ? I'm trying to lose weight and I have a lot to lose. I'm trying to stay at 1300 cals and exercising (walking, 5 lb weights, squats)

  • Mostly, I just love / crave food and especially at night when my guard is down. Portion control goes out the window and I over eat. Can't seem to find out why or how to stop it. All day long is great. At night, the demons are unleashed.

  • So what happens when you have too little food? Does that just mean my body is hanging on to what I have so I'm not losing? Also, I'm happy as hell to lose 1.5 a week. Do you really think upping the cals are the way to go? This is all so confusing. Ughhhh. I really appreciate all your insight
  • I have the same problem! I can stay on task all day and maintain my goals, but then I get home from work and I finally eat dinner and it unleashes a monster in me. I can't stop eating and craving food! It's the hardest to overcome/deal with since I've started to make these food changes in my life. So I totally understand…

I thought is was about big pharma companies etc. It turns out it gives a lot of valid information on diet, keto, the environment, and our food production history.   • I'm just starting out on this journey too. I would love to follow your story and help if I can. I started at 283lbs and am at 270lbs and have already hit a plateau. I've cut out sugar and carbs to start, and lowered my calorie intake significantly. But I have a long long way to go. The struggle is real. Let's do this!!!
