I have been using MFP since Feb this year and am down 60 to about 212. I workout (brisk walk on the treadmill) 5x a week at a local gym. Goal is 200 by Labor Day. Then 180 by Thanksgiving. I think I can make it. Anybody else local?

Sounds like you might need to lower your expectations a bit, but maybe you can make it happen?

The first covers accurate logging and some of the tools in MFP to help you make things easier. The second discusses caloric needs and setting goals. These two posts completely changed my MFP experience and helped me be much more successful, so I hope they do the same for you.
