I'd be happy 6 pounds lighter. I'm 5'0". I' love to be able to splurge once in a while but as a 61 year old female, I can't afford to fall off the wagon. At my size, just 3 or 4 pounds and my clothes don't fit.

My husband and I are carnivore. Once in a great while we go off for chips and salsa or a piece of cake. Never more than one day off.Our A1C stay around 5.00 and our weight is easily manageable within 5 lb or so. Little to no support on mfp🤨

Not everyone can achieve ketosis at 30 grams of carbs. I have to stay under 10 to remain in ketosis.

I'm a 5'0" woman. Low carb is the only way to keep my weight down. Please consider low carb. I used to have a massive sweet tooth. Low carb is the most satiating way I have ever eaten. No more sweet tooth. It doesn't happen over night. One short girl to another, give it a 30 day try!

Hi. I'm Ilana from KS. I was 20 lbs overweight for the last 3 years. That's a lot for a 5'0" woman! Finally got it off. It Just crept up 3 winters ago. Now that I'm over 50, (I'll be 60 in July), it takes much more effort and consistency to get weight off. My goal is to keep it off forever. It's just so hard to lose again…

I have been carnivore for a year after being keto and very low carb since 2015. I got off antidepressants, got rid of vertigo, have MUCH more energy and lost that pesky last 15 pounds. I'm a 59 year old woman. Dark circles, gone. Cellulite almost gone LOL. My husband and I always stick to the same way of eating. We both…

First and most important: low carb diet reduces cravings and makes self discipline easier. 2: Don't drink your calories. 3: Try intermittent fasting. I do 18 hour fast and 6 hour eating window. It becomes easier with time. I started with just skipping breakfast. Easy when you don't load up on carbs and have a sugar crash.

As you lose weight your basal metabolic rate goes down. You will need to decrease your intake accordingly.

Intermittent fasting. Fast for 18 to 20 hours then very low carb during a 4 to 6 hour feeding window.

Hi, I'm Tina. I've been gaining and losing the same 10-15 pounds for many years. The problem is, I like to eat! It's time to stop the merry-go-round. Unfortunately, I gain easily and struggle to lose. Is it possible to enjoy food and maintain a healthy weight? I'm happy to be among friends.
