I have to eat 1,000 to 1,200 of good food to lose weight too. It’s so annoying and sometimes very hard. I like to be slim. So I have to do it.

I am 5’6” and 158. I like to weight 138. I diet and just go right back to 158. Why is 158 so bad?

This is the same for me. I can only eat 1000/1200 a day just to maintain. I don’t think sugar is the culprit I think some of us have very slow metabolisms and are meant to weigh a certain amount. The struggle is real.

I am trying to lose 15 pounds. I eat between 1200 and 1350 a day. That way if I am hungry I don’t fret. I have lost 2 pounds in 40 days. I am doing this super slow. Trying to be patient. I wish it was faster.

I think that because I have lost and gained a lot of weight over my teen:adult life I can’t lose weight at all anymore unless I eat 800 calories a day or do some crazy Medifast diet. I stopped ww. Too expensive and those 0 point foods weren’t for me. I need to eat 1200-1250 a day to lose weight super slow. And 1300 a day to maintain.

I have gotten to 141 pounds and tend to gain back to 159 all the time! I really do my best logging food. It’s a constant battle that I wish I didn’t have. Just count calories and do the best you can. I can’t seem to eat over 1200 calories or I gain. I always wonder how some can eat more than me and stay so slim.

Yes. Patience is a virtue here. 1200 calories days are tough. 1300 calories a day is much better! Want to go from 157 to 145. One day at a time!

I measure everything. I have measuring cups all over. Spoons. You name it. I pack my own lunch too. Barely go out to eat. But. I am ok

I have a food scale and I use it when I eat chicken and fish.

I use a food scale. I enter everything. I even go over estimate calories on occasion. I guess I need 6 months.

Brush your teeth. Chew gum. Sip water. Listen to music. Distraction is best.

This sounds awful. What is wrong with 138 pounds??? I am at 158 and happy. Life is short. Be healthy and enjoy. Eat real food.

I will include all food including fruits fats veggies proteins and treats in my 1200-1350 calories a day. No stress here! Moving on my way. 🙌🏻

Thank you everyone. I have lost weight in 24 days. I need to be patient. I will aim for 1200-1350 calories per day. Low in sugar. I will reach my goal of 135-140 ish when I reach it. In the meantime. Ok. I will up my calories to 1350. Walk more. I often wonder if our set point is genetic. That what we are is what we should be despite our efforts. Who needs to starve? I have no health issues. I am 56. Desk job. Try for 5,000 steps a day. I want to weigh 140! At my current weight I wear a size 6/8. 157 seems high.
