@dlm4mom ... that's the most common issue ... one bad day breaks motivation and then it spirals out of control. I dont have a fix other than hit the reset button ASAP and stem the backwards slide.

Often it's an issue of proportions ... me personally, i lose fat in my arms and legs first ... so halfway through my stomach looks every bigger. I have very stubborn belly fat. So when the rest of me gets thinner my stomache looks even bigger than before in a progress pic.

The general advice is eat more food so that you do not collapse into a binge cycle, it can be helpful to find low calorie filling foods such as zucchinis and things like that

I'm curious about the inclusion of ghetto. Like, spiritual and hippie I think go hand in hand (15 years ago I was a hippie) ... but all these terms mean a different thing to each person. What did you mean by ghetto person?

Weigh the whole chicken before and after you'll know the % loss. Interpolate your starting weight by dividing by the % loss of your served portion

This was last nights dinner ... the thigh was weighed raw .. .then the cooked bone was weighed before it went into the trash. The net weight between the two is what got put on mfp.

The weight for a serving/calorie calc is the weight raw. I weigh my bones and subtract them from my inital serving size before i throw them out... It is a little conservative as a cooked bone weighs less than a raw one.. but i figure mostly because the marrow seeps into the juices which of course get eaten. I'm not sure I…

I know you're asking for lady-only friends ... but a small word of advice ... ... you can lose weight while bedridden. You do NOT need to work out to lose weight. Not being able to work out is no reason to gain weight. It's about calories consumed.
