I have done miserably this month. Caregiver for my aunt (all about her, not me) big family event this past weekend. Tomorrow I meet with the surgeon about knee replacements. Gotta get busy, make good decisions and be committed to ME for awhile. I WANT this - I really do!

I am so sorry I have not been active. I have been caring for my 86 yr old aunt and life has been topsy turvy. Shall I continue or have you dropped me? I am back home looking forward to getting back to a good routine.

I'm 67, 5'3", and weigh 282. That's not my highest but it's my starting weight.....starting now. Gotta lose so I can get knee replacements and fix a growing list of other issues. Point is, I start now. Goals for tomorrow, 1) log accurately, 2) no alcohol, 3) log 4500+ steps. Ready, set..... go!

Welcome March. I sure would like to be AF this month. I think alcohol is playing a significant role in GI issues. I'm in. I have high blood pressure, acid reflux, and now kidney disease. Also a breast cancer survivor BUT alcohol acts against my cancer medication. Duh.... any of those should be reason to get this under control. Planned to be AF today but didn't happen. So........ tomorrow and Sunday are AF days. No excuses.

I am in the same place as you are. Both knees need replaced and I need to lose some pounds. Check YouTube for chair cardio and strength exercises and work up from there. I'm really hoping for surgery in January but gotta make better decisions.

Today: Cleaning day, no excuses. I have help coming so its gotta be done. Gotta get some exercise, shoulder/neck muscles tight from too much tablet time. Drink 64+ oz of water. Thats all. Gotta set some goals I can attain for a positive day.

I cannot get this phrase out of my head! My actions tell me my health is NOT a priority and that makes me discouraged and mad😡 My uncle once said.."what you want is determined by what you do". Do I really want to be a lazy recliner TBP --- twice baked potato? Argh! I need an attitude adjustment.

I want to: Do lymphedema care for my arm. Too many days without and it is sore. Do a load of laundry... all the way to folding and putting the clothes away. No more than one drink...dang covid... Get on the stupid elliptical. Yep.... no motivation today but that can't always be my excuse!
