  • I have Bob’s Mills9 grain cereal, with apple bits and cinnamon cooked right in. Or, I make a veggie “omelette” vegan style, made out of chick pea flour and other stuff - more like a pancake with veggies cooked in. One more idea: a vegan protein smoothie - pea protein powder, water, kale leaves, frozen strawberries & some…

  • Exercise - yes Within calorie budget - yes Keep track of all I ate and drank - yes I find it extremely useful to track immediately when I eat, then as was mentioned by Ranger Rick (is that really your name?), I make eating adjustments for my evening meal if needed, or I do an afternoon workout; I LOVE the ability to add…

I have researched and for me, I only need to exercise for 1/2 hour or so a day for the benefits. It simply feels good to feel good! No dairy, sugar,…
  • I also have about 20 lbs to lose and am doing it via clean eating. I agree with SwimMighty, it is good to try new stuff each week and invest in some good cook books. It has helped me lose 30 lbs already - whether paleo or vegan...getting involved with cooking and learning works tremendously. I have used both “Paleo for…

  • I also found good information on nutrients in the book “Becoming Vegetarian”. I have it all tabbed and things highlighted; I refer to it often. It also shows sample menus that should shed some light on nutrients.
  • Hi, can you recommend a good vegan protein powder that does not have sugar?
  • Hi, I could use some accountability too. I don’t know how to friend people yet...still learning.
  • I’m in. Just started up a little while ago. The program is working well for me, looking to lose about 20 lbs. And also wanting to exercise more consistently.
  • Hi, I just started also - a few days ago. Liked your post...glad to meet you...you/we’re NOT crazy! Let’s go!
