Almost in the same boat. I'm 5'1, currently 138, goal is 120 lbs. I'm shooting to reach the goal before my birthday (July), and maintain or build muscle afterwards, I'll wait until I see where my body is at then. :)

I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through that, it must be stressing you out so much! If I were you, I'd go and seek professional help to see what the problem is. It sounds like you're doing things right, so maybe there is an underlying problem? I hope you'll be able to find out and fix it :)

Hi :) I'm 21, 5'1, and trying to acheive 120-125 lbs. I currently weigh 144, I started off at 173. Well you are right but I learned what I learned when I was in all of those classes and I don't have the material with me/can't share some of the material online so that makes it a little harder for me to find credible sources to back up what I remember, especially since Google is filled with articles/blogs from who knowsโฆ

If you haven't noticed, both of those concepts are myths/debates therefore there are two sides of it.

I would stand up for my point and explain my history of taking 2 years of anatomy and physiology for nursing school (while also keeping high grades and had honors) and how I trained to be a dietitian for the Air Force so I'm not completely clueless when it comes to knowing about the body, but I don't care anymore and isn'tโฆ

That happens to me too but it's when I'm just getting into the cobra, and he's like okay now hold the downward dog for 1 more breath. Huh? I still haven't done the pushup in the middle yet? ๐

Nope. I just make sure that whatever I eat from the restaurant doesn't make me go over my calorie goal.

That's great! I follow Beachbody too, P90X and X3. We all have a weakness plus popcorn is good ๐ Hope you have a great Sunday too :)

That's understandable. Though the sexual harassment on here is the least of my worries, because can simply ignore. The ones that were my main concern are ones in public or in the gym.

I think it helps very well with bloating. Lemon ginger tea helps me too. One cup is usually all it takes to start working.

I like to eat a light meal before working out so it's not too much on my stomach but enough to give me energy for the workout. I usually eat a banana and yogurt or a bag of mixed veggies. As post workout meal, I always eat something low in fat but high in protein like turkey or chicken to help rebuild my muscles.

I perfectly understand. My problem with my period is serious bloating and cramps, it makes me feel terrible and not want to work out, especially ones where I have to jump around. So when I'm on my period, I don't go and workout around people, I follow youtube videos usually. But I'm guessing you're paying for those classesโฆ

I see your point. I've seen everyone's point on who has replied to me. If I had known all of this was going to happen, I sure would have not said anything. Thanks for everyone's input and trust me, I won't voice my biased opinion without facts/studies ever again.
