Thanks for the tip! I like Lean cuisines. some of them can be rather high on the sodium side, so I try not to eat them everyday. But they sure do make a quick lunch.

You still haven't opened up your food diary, or given your current stats so that people can better give you suggestions and advice on what you might be doing wrong. But no one gains 15 pounds on 1300 calories a day. You are eating more than you think.

I've pretty much done this over the past ten years. I still weigh 250 pounds. :'(

I was only able to lose 3 pounds before my wedding, I still think I looked good.

At least two fad diet books based on this premise. I'm sure the authors laughed all the way to the bank. If there was any food with magical weight loss properties, none of us would be here.

I vote that they remove the woo button completely and replace it with this.
-
Trust me, it doesn't look as bad as you think. I need to lose over 100 pounds and will probably end up looking like a melted down candlestick. :'(

Chicken is not high in sodium. Unless it is coming out of a can. If you are concerned about the cholesterol in eggs, there are some very good egg replacement products. Or use one whole egg to every two or three egg whites.

No thanks. :/

Some people "bank" their unused calories. And save them for an extra weekend treat. Kind of a guilt free way to use those leftover calories.

Happy Birthday!

Sounds to me like you really want them. I say go for it! :p

Supplements are useless for permanent weight control. As is the dangerous HCG diet. For best suggestions, best to let people know your current stats and how much you currently want to lose. As well as opening up your food diary so people can make suggestions there. Also, "eating healthy" doesn't mean much when it comes to…

I'd give it another week and if you don't think you are adapting well, maybe move from keto <20 grams to low carb 50 or so grams, by increasing your carb intake to a more sustainable level. Not everyone does well with the keto diet. As for "sugar withdrawal", I'm not sure that is a scientific thing, as there is always…

It's no different here than on your Facebook group I'm sure. Not a day or hour goes by where someone doesn't post a fad diet thread. But very low calorie diet posts are not tolerated here and are quickly removed. All the long term MFP'ers who have lost and kept it off, did it sensibly. Not high fat, not one meal a day, not…

No calorie snacks? I can only think of ice cubes.

I wish I could depress my belly fat. :/

You can't add steps without a pedometer pp. You have to enter it as walking leisurely pace, moderate pace, etc. And time spent.

Any loss of weight will have an impact. If you ran to the barbershop with a gallon of milk in your hands, would it be easier to run without it? Sure it would. That gallon of milk weighs eight pounds. Also, the first week of weight loss is often partly water weight, not all. You probably dropped a pound or two of body fat…

The obvious difference is that in WW you track points and here you track calories, and macros if you are so inclined. And it's free while WW costs an arm and a leg. I miss the meetings myself, although now they have even changed that, and don't call them meetings anymore but "workshops". And the new freestyle program is…

I tried fasting while asleep 11-7 but didn't lose a pound. :/
-
Why do people fall for threads like this.
-
I've been eating air fried corn dogs, bbq ribs, and pizzas but still haven't lost any weight. But they are a fun appliance.
-
Amy's def. the best. But so freaking expensive. I vote for Healthy Choice #2. Lean Cuisine are ok but tend to have more sodium.
-
Always a first time poster that digs up and resurrects these fossil threads. Always. Why is that?

Welcome. But calling oneself a blimp is both cruel and politically incorrect here. The proper wordage is "helium filled transportation device". My best friend is a Yorkie btw.

Hi. My suggestion is to work on the latter the most. Weight loss starts in the kitchen, not so much the gym. Use the tools provided here to lose at a sensible level, and add activity as you see fit. Welcome to MFP!

Very well written post and inspirational profile also. Hope this gets more views. edit: most health insurances cover skin removal surgery if it is impeding mobility or causing other problems, which I am sure it is. If you don't have insurance or can't afford the co-pay, maybe set up a go fund me page.

Wrong. You will all be assimilated into keto. Resistance is futile.

A whole 1.6 pounds? Remember to,lose it slowly to avoid saggy skin. I advise six months. :#
