so that you can perform the procedure on me. And also teach me how to conjugate verbs.

Both are good. Just be careful and don't get the chain tangled in your shoelaces like I did. :/

Ephedra is illegal if sold as a dietary supplement. But the main active ingredient, ephedrine, is available OTC. I suspect that's what people use in the stack.
-
I stopped reading when I got to the vinegar. :/

A good mindset! Everyone has bad days so no need to stress.
-
I suspect your friend was contaminated by bad advice from some fitness trainer. If ECA (ephedra, caffeine, aspirin) "shrank" fat cells and caused weight loss, do you really think any of us would still be here?
-
@Phirrgus I may have misunderstood the comment though. 6 pounds lost, 0 in two weeks. I wonder though in what span of time the OP lost the initial 6. edit: thanks @tcunbeliever
-
"Only 6 pounds" in two weeks? :o If that is so, you need to adjust your mindset and expectations. There are no quick fixes when it comes to weight loss.

I surmise that it is not ketosis or high protein intake at all that causes a reduction in appetite. It's the sheer boredom that sets in from these diets because of the limited choices in foods that makes adherents eat less. It happened to me. Anyone on keto locked in a room with a loaf of freshly baked bread will find out…

I'm giving up rolling my eyes at "Anyone doing keto ?" posts. But only during Lent.
-
@roxymiller716 5 year old thread. no one listening. :'(

Starvation mode is a myth. Pie a la mode however, is reality.
-
Yep they are cookies. Brits give their foods such odd names. Green mash, toad in hole. Spotted dick. :D
-
People that claim they have a "clearer mind" since starting keto. Woo, or true?
-
+ this, absolutely.

Asking strangers on an internet forum to diagnose an illness for you is not wise. I doubt there are many MD's on MFP and if there were, they would tell you to go see your doctor.
-
I've noticed necro threads are always resurrected by people making their first comment. Why is that?

Even with zero thyroid output, your metabolism would only be affected 5%. So there really isn't a need to "fix" your metabolism if you are on thyroid replacement therapy. The pills you mention are an alleged carb/fat blocker. Trust me, if they worked, none of us would be here at MFP. I found this youtube video to be an eye…

Ewww there's a housefly on it. Oh never mind, it's on my tablet. :/

Cellulite isn't really a thing. It was a term invented back in the 60's, I think by Vogue magazine. I took anatomy for two years including dissection, and never ran across the term "cellulite" from my college professors or in any textbook. It is nothing but body fat that has pushed through connective tissue that lies above…

You didn't ask your Dr.?
-
Don't do cheat days.
-
Cheat meal, cheat days, cheat week, cheat year, etc. It's probably the most frequent topic on MFP besides keto. No one can decide for you, only you know how it will affect you and if it will derail you or not. Hope it works well for you though!
-
I'm not so sure about that. I just ate a chocolate covered jalapeno pepper.
-
My wife changed her eating window too many times and was banned from MFP so be careful. :/
-
yes the app has a scanner.
-
Thanks for sharing your story and welcome to MFP. Wishing you great success in your goals.
-
Why do you ask if no one can answer? You past posts show a disturbing relationship with food and eating in general. I hope you are getting some counseling for this.

Ever since I started my Dr. Oz 9 day banana fast, I'm totally addicted. :anguished:
