I’ve been hearing lately about Carb cycling and Calorie cycling.... in your opinion(s) is one better than the other?

I calorie cycle, I don’t pay attention to my carbs. I only watch my protein intake.
I cycle my calories so that I can have higher calorie days to fit with my social calendar. I don’t think there are any special benefits other that that.5 -
Better in terms of..? Neither one is inherently beneficial or necessary if weight loss is your goal.3

I do both, so the days my carbs are lower so are my calories. It doesn't necessarily lead to better results, but I find better adherence and workout performance. If you are just starting out I wouldn't overcomplicate it though.6

If your goal is weight loss, neither is necessary.1 -
