Does it matter? Are you still on track with your goals?
I still think you should seek out a professional.7 -

It's one of the main food groups. SUGAR. Cut the sugar and snack on nuts and berries.
Disclaimer: This is my opinion. Consult your doctor for a professional diagnosis.26 -

OP, well done for spotting the disconnent between reality (how little you've actually eaten) and how you're feeling. Please talk to a professional before this progresses any further.
In my opinion they taste a bit boring, but lots of people eat them.

OP - please get some professional help about your eating love because feeling mixed up like you do can't be solved by even the most empathetic and knowledgeable people on here. I wish you well.8

I only wanted to say that professional help is the primary reason she isn't in much worse shape right now. And that getting that help, whether for autism, or OCD issues, or anything else we're having trouble with on our own, is not a bad thing.
If you're currently seeing a therapist for your autism, let them know you have questions about food related issues. If you aren't seeing anyone, please consider it? I've seen how fast things can spiral out of control. Catch it now.
Wishing you well.

Perhaps labels aren't what we should focus on here. What is going on here may not fit your definition of an eating disorder, or the most classic popular definition of one, but you are experiencing stress and anxiety around how much food to eat.
A stressful fixation on food is reasonably common among people on the autistic spectrum. Whatever you call it, it is a stress you don't need, especially as a fixation on food may lead to behaviour such as chronic undereating which could also damage your physical health. Please read this and see if it resonates with you.

Since I'm not eating only Skittles or raspberries, it depends on the context of my entire diet. And yes, sometimes the correct answer is Skittles.20 -

i totally had a bag of skittles in the car on my drive home the other day - and they fit perfectly...and much easier to eat in the car than raspberries10 -
Congrats! What works for you. This is not a debate. I'm offering advice based on what works for me, just as you are. At the moment I can't afford to eat skittles.4

I have a powerlifting meet Saturday. Skittles would be way more helpful than raspberries in that situation.2 -

But see, this is where we need to give thought to how we say things. You said, "Cut the sugar and snack on nuts and berries", which is a command to everyone reading it, not "I cut the sugar and snack on nuts and berries", or even, "You might want to consider cutting the sugar and snacking on nuts and berries."15 -

Alright folks. This thread will be staying locked. If you wish to debate the merits of sugar and different sugar-laden foods please do it in a thread in the debate section, NOT in a thread where OP is seeking advice and guidance. Turning a thread into an off-topic debate violates the community guideline that prohibits trolling.
If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me or any other moderator or MFP staff-member and we'll be happy to discuss.
