But in general I've never been a big meat eater. Even as a young kid it grossed me out. The taste & textures of most meats has always gone through me. My family are big meat eaters & wouldn't let me be a vegetarian growing up. I've been veggie for 4/5 years now. It's literally taken the last year for my mother to finally…

No meat, for the planet & for myself.

@seltzermint555 that's so cool that uoh got to see her speak! I have a lot of admiration for her & would love to be friends with her :) I don't know anyone else who knows about her. One of my co-workers did history at uni & I'm trying to get her to read the book so I can chat to her about it!

Not okay Running out of room in your rubbish bin & putting your left over rubbish in your neighbour's bin without asking for their permission.

Finished when They call you a terrorist by Patrisse Cullors today & now I'm reading Everything I never told you by Celeste Ng

Diet pills & fads. People saying fat = ugly. Calling deserts & junk food "naughty". Just anything that contributes to body shaming & fads.

Big cooked breakfast! Toast, baked beans, scrambled tofu, vegan sausages, grilled tomatoes & not forgetting the best part - hash browns👌 think cooked breakfast is my fav meal!

If the cramping is too bad, please don't be too hard on yourself. Some people say that exercise helps cramps (unfortunately I'm not one of those people lol).

I should probably point out that I'm a carb queen and struggle with my protein intake but I always have even when I did eat meat. But I've never been a big meat eater anyway. Always preferred vegetarian options. Not rushing and doing your research is very wise :) each lil step you take is a step forward.

Yesssss I completely agree that libraries are much more than just books. It's the only place that's free & everyone is welcome. Probably the only place where homeless people aren't turned away. I'm proud to work in a library :)!

Uni kinda killed reading for fun for me too. As I did psychology, we were taught to constantly critique everything. A year after I finished uni I really tried to get back into reading but I just couldn't. But now 2 years later I've managed to get my reading groove back this year :). I think it can be difficult to…

I can only read one book at a time, amazes me how people can read multiple! How do you choose which books to read & when?
-
I'm the same. I go through phases. My Goodreads goal this year is only 6 as I really struggled to read last year but I achieved the 6 last week :)

Currently reading when they call you a terrorist by patrisse khan cullors & asha bandele. This year I'm trying out non fic books for a change. I've only listened to an audiobook once, few years ago. I'm definitely one of those people who think the book is better than the movie! I work in a library so that's handy :). I was…

Love a bit of morbid humour. Despite the humour though, I'm learning a lot from this book. Smoke gets in your eyes and other lessons from the crematorium by Caitlin Doughty.

Thank you everyone for your responses :) I have IBS & a big list of food intolerances. After begging my GP for literal years (she once told me to go see a nurse who just told me to look on Google :|) she said she'll look into referring me to a dietitian. I think because my bloods are fine she hasnt been taking me seriously.
