Not been posting goals or logging the past few days. The weekend got away from me and I didn't ride. It really throws me into a funk when there is a nice day and I waste it. Yesterday my intake was good (though I didn't log) and I rode which helps my mood. Even when the ride sucks like it did yesterday, it still boosts my…

Well, I didn't eat as planned yesterday but it wasn't bad. I skipped the pizza and cake at lunch, but ate more for dinner. I was really doing ok until I drank too much, then I wanted pie... Still within maintenance and my weight was constant today. I'll take it, it was a fun evening. I have a few errands to run today, and…

@Xellercin I meant to quote the original poster, not you. Sorry for the confusion. You are right though, it really isn't any of my business how they use the site...

I think that’s great for you, but most people on this site require counting. Not sure why you would bother being on here if you are so against it.
-
I can get obsessive about counting & weighing as well, but I've kind of settled into a routine. I still weigh once a day, but only once in the morning post bathroom & nude. I know I can only create this situation one time a day and it will most likely be my lowest weight so I'm good there. Trending the data has been a…

Any movement over your previous movement is beneficial to your health. The only thing the treadmill gains you is a constant speed. You can always just bump up your effort level outside and enjoy a little sunshine and vitamin D. Good job!

Tim decided he's rather go out for Trivia than go for a bike ride. I'm kind of wishing he'd chose the other way, but I did keep my calories in check last night rather than getting drunk and eating a ton of bar food. Still ate bar food, but smaller amounts than if I drink to excess. We did average at trivia finishing in the…

You mentioned TDEE. How did you find your TDEE and are you keeping a relatively consistent activity level? You said you don't eat back exercise calories which is good if you are doing TDEE, but if it isn't working for you maybe you should try switching to the MFP activity level + exercise calories method. How old are you?
-
There is definitely an inconsistency there. I probably would have stripped back down to see if it changed, but that is just because I'm a nerd. Things to try: Make sure the scale is on a hard level surface. Maybe change the battery.

With 200 pounds to loose, there is a lot of lead way into methods for loss. If you are struggling on OMAD, but like IF try @Xellercin 5days IF: 2 day regular approach. Seems like a great way to ease into IF. That being said if IF isn't for you that's ok. IF isn't magic it's just another way to limit the calories you eat in…

It is important to account for exercise in your intake to ensure you are fueling your body, but you are right, its a balancing act. A good way to see where you are on your goal is to log everything you take in and all of your exercise for a month (or 2) and see what the scale says. If you are losing faster than your set…

@Snowflake1968 Congrats to Michaela! Learning to ride a bike is a big deal! Slurpees sound like a great reward!

I understand the tight budget, but buying a pair that will only last 1-2 months isn't very budget friendly. If you can spend a little more upfront, you can get shoes that will last quite a bit longer, say 6-8 months. As others have said:* Shop previous models * Go to a local running store for at least your first pair, they…

Been riding low emotionally lately, feeling discouraged and like it just isn't worth it to care. I know it's all in my mind, but I just can't seem to find the energy to give a darn. Yesterday we had a graduation party to go to at 1:00pm, and after I just wanted to take a nap, which was not the original plan. The original…

I went to a cookout today also. My choices weren’t great, but I kept the portions small. Yesterday I didn’t do that well…. Plan odd to up my exercise this week and pack my lunch so I’m not starving. Good luck!

Woke up this morning and looked at my work calendar. It was mostly clear so I decided to take the day off. Doing some things around the house today and not worrying about the world. Happy Friday y’all!

Drank way too much last night and ate doughnuts... Had fun though. Worked from home today. Going to mom's in a bit and that's about it. Have a great day!

Although I was thin growing up, I was very soft and didn't have much muscle. As I got older I just got softer and bigger. I started working out and eating better after I had kids which was in my early 30's. I felt bad that I hadn't done it earlier, and I almost let that stop me from succeeding. I mean who did I think I…
