Getting back into running... High Impact Sports bra recommendations, please?
I'm getting back into running, but I'm bigger in every respect than the last time I ran (8 years ago). The girls are out of control even in the high impact sports bras I have. I've tried Champion, Victoria's Secret and Adore Me to no avail. Of these bras Champion & VS are fine for bike riding, but not when I run. The AM…

New Garmin Watch / Primarily for Cycling.
Looking at getting a new Garmin Forerunner 745. I primarily cycle, but toy with running from time to time. Not really a swimmer, but I like the waterproof reliability of the 745. Anybody have any experience with this watch. How is the GPS? Can you upload routes onto the watch?

Suggest for new bike rack
I’m looking to get a hitch bike rack. Anybody use the Kuat brand racks (Sherpa 2.0 or NV 2.0) I’m familiar with Thule (T2 Pro XT) but Kuat is a bit cheaper and is better reviewed. We have carbon gravel and road bikes, no fat tire bikes. Want a rack we can just set the bikes into. We also have a Yakima roof rack for my…

How do I use the past as a road map rather than a road block?
I’m 48 and starting over with my fitness. At 38, I went all in for fitness, starting from weak, slow and heavier than I should be. I joined MFP as NotFortyYet. I shredded it! After I hit 40 I became Rides4sanity and I was very fit. Profile picture is from the old days, a goal shot. I’m small 5’1” and I was 105# and 17% BF.…

Looking at gravel bikes. Would like opinions.
I used to road race, and I currently ride a Project Madone 7 49cm (I'm only 5'1"). My husband and I are planning to ride the Allegheny Trail from Pittsburgh, PA to Washington DC next year and we're looking to get some new gravel bikes. We live in West Virginia so there are a lot of options for gravel around here varying…

Looking at buying a gravel bike. Thoughts?
I currently ride a Project Madone 7 49cm (I'm only 5'1"). My husband and I are planning to ride the Allegheny Trail from Pittsburgh, PA to Washington DC next year and we're looking to get some new gravel bikes. He is definitely going carbon, because he wants to use it as a road bike also. I'm torn between alloy with a…

Respecting my Daughter's Choice to be a Vegetarian
Okay, my daughter is 14 yo and has decided to live a vegetarian lifestyle. I'm good with this as long as she gets sufficient iron & protein in her diet. I figure we should learn how to do this together. One of my NY resolutions is to teach my daughters (14 & 17) to cook for themselves before they head out into the world.…

Need help setting up a plan. Cycling focus.
I've been fat and soft, thin and fit and everywhere in between. I have always struggled with goals. I tend to set them too aggressively thinking that anything less is hog wash. I can maintain the crazy demand needed to reach the goal, but as soon as I reach it I back off and counteract all that I've done. The nutrition…
