I'm 27 years old too and 5'8. I cut out milk tea which is really common in our culture and started taking black coffee instead from few months. It helps boost my metabolism and lessen my hunger with zero calories. Just adding you.

I gain weight super easily.It's mostly the 10lbs which I gain and lose.I went to my parents hoyse for 12days and didn't count calories there.I gained 10lbs in those 12days, just lost those and now I'm back at 170 which is the lowest number I ever see. You burn max of 500-600 calories per day with exercise but if you just skip one meal or stop eating unhealthy stuff you will loose weight much faster.

I lost 30lbs last summer with the help of MFP and then life happened.I need to loose 20-25lbs now again and the only thing which I was lacking was motivation but now I feel like I’m back on track ✌️
