Yeah that’s where I go walking. We do get snow and ice. It was 30 degrees when I went walking yesterday but I managed close to 2 miles. I’m a caregiver for my disabled husband and daughter so I try to get out when I can. I found it really helps me with stress so I wanna keep it up. I don’t mind the cold weather (I love all…

Thanks everyone! Unfortunately I can’t afford fancy gear but I did ask for a pair of hiking shoes for Christmas that I found on Amazon. They look like sneakers, sort of. I’m going to a craft store this week so I’ll getting yarn to make my own scarf. Thanks everyone for your input! I learned a lot! Yous guys are awesome 😎

I started with dvds several years ago. (Leslie Sansone walking workouts) came across Darebee.com and I’ve been hooked since!

Prayer and Bible reading. My husband and oldest daughter are disabled and it gets really stressful. I’ll do extra strength training and cardio (depends on the day) when things get really hard (more time praying too!). Or if I can, I’ll go for a walk. The fresh air and a few minutes to myself does wonders so I can better…

My cat Sweetpea is 9 years old. She’s black and white with feline dwarfism. She’s very playful and affectionate. We adopted her when she was a kitten from a friend who couldn’t keep her. We used to have 3 other cats but they have all gone to the Rainbow Bridge.

I like Darebee printable and downloadable workouts. They even have warmups and recovery workouts.

I don’t consider it sneaky. It’s a nondairy replacement for milk. For those of us who won’t, or can’t have dairy, it’s a great alternative.

I get very tired. So I’m up around 4 am for the day to workout, get some time to myself before the family wakes up. I’m also a bit moody. My oldest daughter has 2 chronic illnesses and her symptoms drive me nuts just before my period- I mean having to care for her. It’s not her fault but sometimes it leads to apologies and…

I don’t mind tan lines. I usually wear t-shirts all summer and end up with the dreaded “farmer tan” that looks a little weird on me. 😌

I think your feeding plan sounds good. My cat is overweight too and I’m trying to play with her more. We got those jingle balls and since she follows me around, I make a game of it. She will play along for a bit then plop down for a belly rub! 😹😹😹

Thanks everyone! I’m doing the MapMyWalk app and going walking when I can. I don’t think I can ever jog consistently because of my flat feet so I think the walking app is better for me.☺️☺️☺️

Chris Pratt. He’s the only reason why I’ve watched Guardians of the Galaxy, Magnificent Seven, and some other movies and tv shows. 😌

Happy anniversary to them and thanks to your dad for his service!!

Thanks guys. I can’t afford a Fitbit so I might do map my walk. I’m good about timing- I write it on a piece of paper before I go outside. I guess if I log something that burns less calories then it’s better than putting in something that burns a lot more calories than I actually did. Really appreciate you both for…

I get that pain as well. Try stretching your hands and wrists after and add some hand/wrist exercises to strengthen them. Believe me it helps!

I have some free weights (3-8 lbs), exercise bands, a few weighted balls, a yoga mat, an exercise ball. It’s taken a number of years to get all these (I feel like the only mom who gets workout gear for Mother’s day lol).
