I started walking more this past summer. I’m really enjoying it, besides my regular workouts. I want to continue this during the winter. I don’t have a car, so I’m mostly stuck at the apartment complex I live in. Does anyone else continue regular walking in the cold months? How do you keep from getting frostbite? Anything…

Logging exercises
I love going walking- very fast. Lately I’ve noticed that even going fast isn’t enough so I added some light jogging. I walk, say about 20 feet, then jog. How do you add this in with your exercises? Anyone know?

Another question for the ladies- peri menopause
My peri menopause is in full swing, though I am sure it started gradually about 5 years ago. I’m losing my balance easier (I’ve always been a natural clutz!), craving carbs and salty food, fatigue...etc etc Has anyone got through this without much medication and still lost weight? I have so much responsibilities at home…

Light fasting and workouts?
Hi guys I have to get some bloodwork done tomorrow. Just routine stuff, since it’s been a while I’ve had it done. My doctor said only water after 10 pm tonight until after the bloodwork (scheduled for 10:45 am tomorrow). Would it be ok for me to do my normal workout in the morning? Rest day and calorie counting
How do you stay in your calorie range on your rest day? My rest day is today (Saturday). Normally I get a little active outside but I have an ear infection and I need to take it easy. I am trying to get used to eating less but I am so hungry! How do others here stay on track?

Is this normal for the first week?
I’m doing great staying within my calorie range, averaging between 1600-1800 this week. But I’m pretty sure I am eating a lot less than I usually eat. Tonight I’m feeling very dizzy. Not sure if it’s the peri menopause or how “good “I’m doing or something else altogether. Any ideas? TIA!

Figuring out how to calculate calories? How?
Ok I’m horrible at math in general. Some things I cook, I am unsure how many servings something is, like say mashed potatoes. Normally I add the ingredients to taste (in my case the vegan butter and soy milk). I know the serving size but not sure how to figure out the calories. Is there a trick to it? TIA! ☺️🧐🥔

Hi I just joined today. I’ve been struggling to lose weight for several years. Got down to 145 (goal weight is 130) but gained back some. Now I’m up to 165. What I’ve been doing obviously isn’t working. I have 2 daughters with special needs and my husband is disabled. Thanks for having me here! <3
