So using this calculator my BMR is 1923...I am currently on a 1000 calorie a day diet...there's no way I would lose on close to 2000, in fact I'd start gaining at that amount. At least I think I would. I'd be too scared to try to be honest.

I do reduce carbs BUT processed carbs. I eat rice and potato and vegetables and fruit. But I won't eat cake or anything with sugar in. I eat porridge for breakfast but I won't eat other breakfast cereals. Before I started this I really craved processed carby food. Now I don't. If I tried to lose weight by just reducing…

I’d love to join in please. I have a lot of weight to lose. Over 10 stone still. SW: 25-4 CW:20-10 1/2 GW:9-6 eek ( I’m 5ft5) I have fibromyalgia so despite losing weight before it’s much harder now.
