Why does anyone ever cook anything ahead of time? Because time is fleeting and I'm not a morning person.

My go-to right now is 3 eggs (I bake sheet-pan eggs at the beginning of the week so I can reheat, grab and go) and 4 slices of turkey bacon (also pre-cooked). It comes out to 310 calories, a good deal of protein, and keeps me full for a while.

SHEET PAN EGGS! Exactly what it sounds like-- a sheet pan, crack eggs all over, salt and pepper and whatever you wanna season it with. Oven at 425 for 7-15 minutes depending on how well you like them. If you're meal prepping, you can undercook them a little so when you re-heat them they don't get rubbery or the yolks don't…

But first, coffee.

Bubblicious Orange bubble gum.

The first "meal" of the day, if you eat one. If not, whatever one eat/drinks in the day before lunch? If you're up that early, you're in a whole other universe from me. My day starts at 7.

Seriously, steel yourself. The comments that are coming will be ...fun.

I've always loved breakfast and I wake up starving 70% of the time. I think I'm eating too many calories in the morning that would better serve me to save for the evening when I want a snack. I average about 400ish calories from food and usually 50-75ish from creamer/half and half/milk in my coffee. Those that eat but not…

I commented a while ago but I wanted to come back and mention that my Mom dealt with this for a long time before she was finally diagnosed with Epstein-Barr and later, narcolepsy. I know there a million things that can cause fatigue but it took a long time and a lot of frustration so it's worth googling to see if any of…

I'm going to be totally honest and admit that currently, I don't have a single one. My boobs are ok I guess, but I didn't have any part in those besides suffering through puberty.

I like it because I can confirm how certain favorite foods make me retain water and I think it's cool to find the balance. (I'm a sucker for anything in vinegar-- cucumbers, bell peppers, sweet onion,-- but I notice the morning after having some that all that salt definitely causes the scale to go up a pound or in the case…

You Can't Stop Me by Andy Mineo. If you can ignore the religious undertones, it's a banger.

When we get slow, I do a lap or two outside around the building.

I weigh myself every Saturday or Sunday, and if that falls on my cycle then I will. It's gonna fluctuate regardless, and it'll even out if it comes out a little higher during that time period.
-
I do, but I'm not willing to put a lot of effort into it. What's that mean for me?
-
This adorable level of floof has given me a renewed purpose in life. My gosh.

I don't talk badly about YOUR friends... Gosh.

So, my why is really a lot of things piled up, but at the base of the pile is the fact that my Dad had his future stolen from him by cancer. He is my foundation. I was 28 when he died-- he was only 56. He had just gotten re-married and was deliriously happy. What presented as a potential gallbladder issue turned out to be…

I respect your need to use what he said as a motivator but I hope you know you are so much more than a "kangaroo pouch". (Seriously though, wtf? You're hot and kangaroos are adorable so I already question his judgment skills). I can tell that from this post alone without ever having laid eyes on you. Take care of yourself…

Commenting a placeholder so I can remember to come back here after I clock out.

...Because giving a little extra consideration to a 700+ calorie meal that you're stressed enough over to make an entire post is somehow comparable to choosing a mortgage. OP said talk them out of it. That was my attempt.

I spent the first 31 years of my life hating mustard, got some on a burger by accident a few months back and BAM THAT STUFF IS DELICIOUS! Now it is my go-to for flavor without a bunch of empty calories on a lot of foods. Makes my turkey meatloaf a zinger.

That has to be the most frustrating thing. I get it a lot, too, though I haven't been able to afford a true doctor visit in years. I only go when I'm too sick to go to work. I had ONE doctor back in my home state of NC who actually listened to me and didn't just hear "you're overweight, eat a salad and you'll be fine."
-
Oh. Well. Ok.

Sky diving.

I have a lot of fun diagnoses that make fatigue a constant for me but what's even better is that any deviation from my "norm"/daily routine-- even a POSITIVE one!-- can be absolutely exhausting. First off, consider seeing your PCP if you haven't yet. Could be something as simple as some level being out of whack. Could be…

I'm sure someone has said it already, but sleep on it. If you still can't live without it tomorrow, work it in. Maybe get in an extra workout as a balance. Or make a burger at home, and you'll know exact calories and where they're coming from and how to balance your day around it. Plus, if you're a control freak like me,…

Do you REALLY love me more than you love the dogs?
-
Probably not. Don't take it personally. It's just that meeting people requires pants + going out in public usually and I'm not big on those things. The public is just so … peopley.

If you like pickled things, yes! But I also love okra.
