So 1 day of weights wouldn’t be worth even doing? I can run Sat & Sun much more easily. Is this okay to run consecutively. I only do 5k. I’ve got the last 14lbs to lose now & am finding it so hard.

Thanks. It’s not practical to take them unfortunately where I live. It is easier for me to run the weekend as my partner is home. Is is okay to run say Sat & Sun? Or should there be a day in between?

I’m 120lb. A gym membership isn’t helpful as I have very limited childcare!

Forgot to ask - what should I be looking for in a treadmill? Features etc? I only ever run 5k at most outdoors

I can so relate to this. I used to be in a constant cycle of skipping work out days due to being so tired. Then ‘making up for it’ at the next workout. Same with food. I would restrict more to lose weight & ‘make up’ for not working out, then go on a binge at the weekend because I’d not had enough calories in the week etc.…

I really do need more friends on MFP, to help me keep on track & be accountable. I do well for a few weeks then give up! Put weight back on & start all over again. Please add me if you are good at motivating!

I have a Border Collie too! He would run forever! How far do you run? I only really get a Sunday to go for a run. I can do about 3 miles now. So try to go on a Sunday. Then do the shred once or twice in the week. It’s hard being a Mum, trying to work out & eat well isn’t it!

That’s the problem I have with running, I always need a babysitter! So only get to make it once or twice per week. Maybe I should get a treadmill, but I love being outdoors in the fresh air with my dog!

Thanks, I do try to take the longer route/take the stairs etc. I know these are excuses but I’m so so tired. Just my opinion. I found it impossible and seems OP is too. Its probably a lot easier for those who have bigger cal allowance. I think very hard on a 1200 per day and such low carb too.

You’re trying to follow 2 diets at once. Low calorie AND Keto. They are different. Just choose one and stick to it for a couple of weeks and assess your progress. You DONT calorie count on Keto because it is impossible as you are experiencing! Yup just restrict carb intake. That’s it. You eat about 40-50g carb a day.…
