Perhaps you didn't have a bunch of water weight to lose? If that were true then you are right on track. I wouldn't worry - slow and steady wins the "race". :)

My city puts together a price list each month of what it costs to follow the governments nutritious/health eating recommendations. I figured out the cost for my household (2 adults between age 31-50) it is $155.63 per week ($117.67 USD). I have to say that is pretty darn accurate for what we are spending.

You're doing great! Giant high five

I am not the best at explaining that sort of thing, I just wanted to post and say I hope you figured it out and have a great day

That is AMAZING to hear how much your weight loss has improved your quality of life!

Yes! It can be so discouraging. Have you taken your measurements this time around? It gives another set of numbers you can check (if that is your thing) when the scale isn't moving. I find it helps me

Hi Jennah - I am finding my groove too, slowly but surely. The best advice I have heard is just to do activities you really enjoy, whatever they might be - exercise doesn't necessarily mean just going to the gym.

Sorry you aren't feeling well! I vote for listening to your body and taking it easy on the food if you can't stomach it - just make sure you stay as hydrated as you can.

Chocolate Cheesecake frosting?! Sounds amazing!

So interesting to hear someone else with a similar approach! I have mostly had headaches and my leg was cramped up one day but so far it’s not too bad. I armed myself with a bunch of different electrolytes and it’s been doing the trick I think!

This is a big part for me - I am not telling family what I am up to. I don't want to be subjected to their scrutiny. My hubs knows, he is and always has been my main support. With family I find that they are so judgmental - I am always doing it wrong. They are also all overweight and try to push me off track, "just have a…

I love chips and dip - like a big container of sour cream with french onion soup mix stirred in and salty salty chips. I would eat the whole thing of both before my hubs got home from work. If I am being truly honest, terrifyingly honest, my biggest problem is sneak eating. If I had a burger on the way home I'd hide the…

Right on! That's a great victory

Today was a bit hard - it started with the coffee pot not being turned on last night so no life fuel to get my morning going. Boo!! I got to work and there was coconut cream pie. My one SERIOUS vice, I need to have it, but I will not actively seek it out. I had a slice with my morning cup of office sludge (they try to…

I eat out of boredom too. A lot. I have a ton of vacation with my job and am very lucky for it but my spouse has no paid vacation so I am often home alone. If I do not have some structure while I am on vacation it can easily turn into a free for all. I need to keep myself busy. Cleaning and chores helps but who wants to do…

Hi! Relatively new, just getting things figured out - trying keto, very novice with lots of mistakes that are helping me learn, honestly I'm really enjoying it! My diary is open. Let's be friends!

Hi Kim! I am new too and just figuring things out as well. Hope your back pain gets better soon. Cheers & Happy Friday!

I have a similar schedule and I like to try and bring leftovers from dinner the night before. Make a little extra or use recipes with more servings and then it's a bit easier to have some variety in your lunches day to day. I find this also helps make sure I don't waste food because I have a plan for my dinner leftovers.…

I will check these out - thanks for the suggestion!

I completely understand what you mean, I too was thinking I was "fat" when really I wasn't at all. My goal weight is 165, I have a long road ahead of me but I am ready to put in the work. I don't have the answers but I know I am sick of being in the body I am in - the one that doesn't cooperate and gets tired too quickly,…

Hi ErinSot, I am in the same boat as you. I was doing really well around 2015 and then over the last bunch of years managed to gain and gain and gain. I have 100lbs I want to lose and am 5'11. I am just figuring out Keto and my first goal is to lose 45lbs by the end of 2019.
