In my family, I was raised to believe that someone would come into my life and love me for who I am. Not true. He preferred the company of other women. Thankfully I never had any kids with him. I no longer support the concept of marriage.

From my porch, I verbally mocked my loud next door neighbor for her complaining about the rain. It's night time and I want peace and quiet.

Moving into my new home. 😊

Yup. German cheesecake. My mom always insists I make it for family on Christmas. Ugh. I don't like doing it. TNP likes to feed stray cats.

I agree. 😁

The ability to create an invisible dome-shaped shield, big enough to surround me, for protection. It would repell anything that comes into contact with it. Safety first.

I'm feeling ouch. I bought a cactus today. It shed tiny barbs all over my shirt. It was a very painful ride home...until I could find the tweezers.

Sitting on the couch and staring at the kitchen...knowing there's a pile of dishes in the sink waiting to be cleaned tonight. Ugh.

This happened to me too. The lady wouldn't stop talking about her life. It was really awkward. I think it was the meds that caused her to talk for so long. The nursing staff decided to transfer me to my own room when I had had enough. Lol

I have no clue if what I saw was a ghost or not. At the time, I decided to keep my experience to both myself and my family. It was only months later when I spoke with neighbors, at a party, about my encounter. I got some interesting feedback from neighbors about their experiences while living at our apartment complex. Here…

Greetings my fellow middle ageless friends! I am learning to accept my own fitness level as I go. I am very proud to say I want to try other health/fitness activities such as bicycling, Zumba, or rock climbing. I have only done hiking, jogging, martial arts, and yoga and would like to keep an open mind and change things up…

Hot chocolate was sold for 75 cents, on cold morning, outside my middle school cafeteria. I would buy a cup just before my first class at 7:45 a.m. I have never had any hot chocolate as good since then.

Only with marinara sauce. Fall-off-the-bone ribs?

I wish I could. I'm lactose intolerant. 🙁 TNP wears socks with their sandals.

I think working in retail teaches people to developed a defensive or alert persona. The *kitten* they go through, because of some people, is scary. There are some retail places where showing up to work in a human sized hamster ball (for security) isn't such a half bad idea.

I have spoken to my family and they seem to think that since he is charging an affordable price then it's not a big deal. I don't look forward to meeting the guy. I think this will be his last repair project with us. I did have a bigger different project, building a new closet, planned soon but I will be calling someone…

I tried to get help today with some repairs at home and the guy was really snarky and kinda rude on the phone. What he said has stuck in my brain all day. It made me a bit upset. I'm seriously thinking about canceling my appointment with him. Should I?

I honestly miss being a kid on Halloween. Every year, when I see all the decorations on display, I think back to all the fun I had those many years ago with friends. It was my favorite time of the year. It brings back a feeling of nostalgia every time.

In college I had to take an art class (pre-requisite). Some people could draw and some honestly couldn't. We were all openly required to do a presentation of our art in front of the class and get feedback/constructive criticism for improval. So a class of 20+ people were always making positive remarks about each others art…

I would rather hike in the woods than go out on the town. It's cheaper too. 🤣

Some people have no respect for parking spaces. Especially when the parking lot or street is tiny to begin with. It's something extra everyone has to worry about when they shouldn't have to.
