So glad to find you all. I've done keto successfully in the past. Fell off the wagon. Started back up earlier this month. Recent heart disease diagnosis lead me to wanting to do more of a Mediterranean Keto. Decreased, Healthier fats with the low level of carbs within the keto range. Lets see how this goes.

Hang in there Nrs. I’m sure you can get back on track after doing so well last year. I found that I hit a bit of a plateau this year as well. I haven’t increased carbs but I did lower my daily calorie goal by a few hundred calories and that helped. It’s certainly slower but I think that’s because I’m getting closer to GW.…

I am also struggling since the new year. Started in July 2019 and lost 100 lbs. Stalled in the past several weeks and I know I am eating more carbs (maybe 50 vs. 20) and am always a "hungry hippo". IF is more challenging and have NO motivation to work out. I have never been a gym rat or any kind of workout person, but I…

I also keep a costco size box of egg whites available. easy omelette in a snap. You could use eggs but for me, too many egg yolks…

Thanks for this! It is indeed the truth behind so many failed attempts. I started gaining weight about 15 years ago. The mentality of all or nothing was definitely my Achilles heel. I am now much more realistic. If I want a cookie or chocolate or some other carb I merely just have it. Yesterday for instance, one of my…

I pushed it around between 50-70% until I found my sweet spot. My doctor warned at the outset not to eat the highest fat. I had so much weight to lose and from reading these boards I decided that I had plenty of fat to burn within my big self. My main concern is to keep the carbs low and see where everything else falls.…
