  • Good luck! I’m 44 and have smoked 20 a day since I was 16. I’ll quit eventually! Sorting my recent weight gain out first. 3lbs down, 25 to go.
  • I started my plan this week and have been doing videos by Sharona’s Hill and love her so much! She’s so happy all the time and the videos are easy to follow along to, all set to popular music (grease/frozen/rock to name a few). I’m totally unfit so have been doing the low impact/walking ones but hoping to build up to the…
  • It’s not medical but thanks for the concern xoxo. I think I was gaining weight before Christmas thinking about it now. I moved house in October, from a large town out to the countryside, the middle of nowhere. I drive everywhere now so I’m not getting much exercise, before I used to walk to do the grocery shopping and…
  • Not sure where you are but I live in the UK and buy Skyr yoghurt, it has the highest protein/lowest sugar/no fat of all the yoghurts I’ve looked at. I love it and eat it every day to hit my protein goal. Also veggie sausages and meat-free slices are full of protein.
  • Hi all, was on here a long time ago for maintenance help but I’m back again now as I’ve gained, ugh. I’m a 44 year old female, from UK, vegetarian, 5 feet 1 inch and usually weigh 7 stone 5 pounds but I’ve gained 2 stone since Christmas. I started dieting Monday and plan to exercise 5 days a week for 20-30 minutes. Mfp has…
  • Forgot to add that I’m 44 years old.
  • I’m female, 5 feet 1 inch and usually weigh 7 stone 5 pounds but I’ve gained 2 stone since Christmas. I started dieting Monday and plan to exercise 5 days a week for 20-30 minutes. Mfp has given me a 1200 calorie target (extra on workout days). It’s only Thursday but I’ve already lost 3 pounds and haven’t been hungry at…
  • I’m 42, 5ft 1, vegetarian and mum of three. Currently 100lb, I don’t really want to lose weight, just eat less sugar and fat, and tone up my mum tum. I’m also teaching myself to do the splits and back bends. I have a sweet tooth and can easily eat bags of haribo instead of real food so I’m hoping that by tracking all my…
  • I’m 41 and have gone through the menopause due to ovarian cancer. I feel better than I have in years! No more tampons, no worries about birth control (I’m married to my childhood sweetheart and we’re both faithful btw) and now hrt has stopped the hot flushes I feel great. Roll on the next chapter of my life 😊
  • I like hasfit workouts on YouTube, they have lots of 10-15 minute workouts, including kickboxing if you need to get rid of some aggression!
  • Wheat shreds with semi skimmed milk, low fat natural yoghurt, an apple and a cup of tea 😋
  • Eggs are great. If you like them then hard boil a couple to snack on. I hate hard boiled personally so instead I like mixing two with a couple of handfuls of chopped fresh spinach and a touch of salt and pepper and then microwaving for a couple of minutes.
  • I’m 5 feet and a vegetarian, trying to eat around 1400-1500 net with less than 24g saturated fat. (Not overly focussed on calories though, following a protein/carb ratio instead.) Need to lose a small wobbly belly and improve my muscle tone. Just done my first week and it’s been so hard figuring out what to eat without…
  • I’m in Essex, would love to make some new fitness friends 😊
  • Would love some friends so I can share all the ups and downs with people who know what I’m going through! I’m a 42 year old female from Essex, Uk 😊
  • I’m trying to lose a small wobbly belly and tone up everywhere else. Also trying to get stronger as I’m a bit of a weakling.
  • This has been my first week of working out in about a year so I know it’s not as much as most of you are doing but it’s a start! 5 reps of the following using 5kg (4.6 to be exact lol) dumbbells): 10x shoulder press 10x bicep curls 10x weighted lunges 10x press ups from knees 10x raised legs crunches Then I followed with a…
  • Good afternoon all. Just popped in to say have fun with whatever you’re up to today! Unfortunately I have a headache and I’m knackered but still need to do my workouts for today (strength followed by cardio). Really not in the mood but about to start them anyway, can’t meet my goals if I don’t put the effort in. At least…
  • I’m in Essex and a newbie to exercise in general, looking for friends to keep me motivated :)
  • Hi everyone, I’m approaching 42 and have been recovering from a hysterectomy due to ovarian cancer. Trying to get rid of a small flabby belly and build up some muscle. This is my first week of exercising after not doing any for about a year so I’m starting off with shorter (20 minute max) workouts and hoping to build up…
