Definitely going to be switching apps. That feature was really the only reason I was still using this app. No way will I pay a monthly sub cost for that one thing. They already had me irritated with the constant pushing premium in my face every time I open the app. Maybe they should try actually improving the app, instead…

My partner had a similar response, although he was just joking around. He just wants me to be happy. In reality, he actually likes my smaller butt more now, as it has a much nicer shape than it had with all the fat on it.

I also lost 270lbs of alcoholic, abusive, cheating ex husband. He hated any time I tried to lose weight because he was convinced I was going to cheat on him. Turns out he was the one cheating the whole time. Made me especially happy when he managed to find the 40lbs I ditched in the year after I kicked him out. Petty? Yes.…

You can always go for a non beauty related compliment, like tell them they're looking really strong. I would be really pleased if someone complimented how much weight I was deadlifting or something. "Hi so and so, it's been forever! I couldn't help notice you're lifting some really impressive weight, that's awesome! How…

I was trying to show off to a friend and the picture actually came out pretty good so I saved it. 😂

I've been lifting on and off for years (breaks for injuries, and just life), and I've gotten so bulky.

I had the opposite bra experience. Once I shrank out of my old expensive bras, I was too cheap to buy new ones until I was finished losing weight. So I just swapped to wearing cheap comfy sports bras temporarily. Well... 7 years later I still wear almost nothing but sports bras and bralettes because DAMN THEY ARE SO MUCH…

Well... if you use like half a cup of 2% milk in your tea like I do, and 2-3 tsp of sugar like my bf does... That's 90-105 cals per cup of tea. And if you use cream instead of milk, that brings it even higher. I used to put 80-100 cals of creamer in my tea and coffee. Not sure why you're confused that 3 cups of tea could…

And then I hope you will tell him to get lost once he crawls back, and go find someone who actually deserves you.

Daily. I like seeing my fluctuations. Helps me see if I'm actually gaining weight, or if it's just one of my normal ups after say a huge meal, or a big work out, etc.

Learning the calories in all the food I was eating. I wasn't eating a large volume of food, but the food I was eating was very high calorie. I just didn't know. I had moved to a tiny village in another province and the local grocery store didn't sell most of what I was used to eating so my diet changed. Once I downloaded…

I have a jar of these in my fridge from Christmas baking and I just love to grab it out and eat a few. I also eat and enjoy half the foods mentioned in this thread. Hah. I only like oatmeal when it's done up as overnight oats. Hot oatmeal has such a gross texture. I do find bulletproof coffee, and mushroom coffee weird AF…

Super happy to read things are going so much better for you! Can I make a small suggestion of not pumicing your feet every night? It might actually help with the discomfort. Sounds like you're saying you haven't been walking on the bottoms of your feet properly, and I'm wondering if that would mean you have no…

When people I know say they're fat (meaning they're ugly), I always say things like "true, but you're also beautiful/gorgeous/sexy/etc. Fat is just fat, it doesn't make you unattractive." To tell a fat person they aren't fat is pointless. They are fat. It is a thing. We all have fat, some of us have too much, or even just…

You are also increasing your fitness level, which means you expend less calories to do the same thing ;) It's super fun /s Haha. I'll take it anyways though, even if it means working harder for the same goal.

I don't "cheat", and while I generally eat healthier (tons of fruit, veggies, and healthy grains), I still let myself have whatever I want. I just eat the higher calorie foods on days I burn more calories, or I make the portions smaller to fit into my budget that day. For example; Saturday, my guy and I did a 10km hike…

I'm also going to agree this has more to do with strength and flexibility, rather than just weight. I've never had an issue getting up without using my hands. From my highest weight of 165, to my lowest of 124. I am 5'4.5" I have seen other people my height/weight/age range struggle with doing it though.

This almost happened to me when I was in school and job shadowing a local vet. Had nothing to do with what I was seeing, and everything to do with the fact that I was standing too still and controlling my breathing too well. Loss of proper blood circulation to the brain and you can pass out from it. I've seen it happen to…

This happened to me as well. I lost weight from my belly last, so everything around it got smaller and it just emphasized the part I hated the most. I started to look fatter before I finally started losing from my belly. I believe I lost 2-3 inches off my butt, hips, and chest before I lost more than a half inch off my…

New petty reason... I volunteer with a local agency, and my ex husband has just applied to join the same agency in the next town over. We frequently assist each other on things, which means if they accept him I could end up seeing him quite often, so now I am determined to lose the last few pounds I have been struggling…
