What's TW?

Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweeping down the plains....

Thanks, Yvette. This sounds like what my PCP diagnosed it as 15 years ago.. He didn't call it an "exertion headache" per say but did say I was needed to ease into it bc I was starting out too hard. Thanks for your insight!

I don't know if I can handle these boards. Random, unnamed people disagree with me but never actually say why they disagree. I'm a sensitive person and honestly it hurts my feelings, as silly as that is. Surely that's why people click it, I guess.

I have it set to 1 pound per week fairly recently but honestly that extra 40 calories per day when I switched from losing 2lbs is pretty darn trivial. I have no idea what mast cell disorder is. I simply found the fact that the body releases histamines during stress like exercise to be rather enlightening. 🤷

PAV I am decidedly NOT undereating as my calories are set to 1200 but I was eating back a good portion of my activity calories, which if you followed the post that I originally said I was eating 1200, explained ALL that. That being said, I have dealt with headaches when exercising despite hydrating, eating, extra sleep,…

I wish I could "like" this 100 times! This makes perfect sense. I deal with eczema and just am sensitive to a lot of things - hives, etc. I am hesitant to take anticholinergics like antihistamines though. I do sometimes but I try not to because they increase the risk of dementia. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with…

Thank you for that enlightening reply! That was a lot of information you spent time typing out and I appreciate it!!
-
I also wonder who could possibly be disagreeing with this sentiment. Perhaps the ones disagreeing are the ones that feel uncomfortable and guilty bc they bring their sick kids to gym daycare.....???
-
Maybe surgery and therapy would help the most.
-
Yes, my apologies as I did notice it later.
-
My resting heart rate is 57. I never measured that low with a polar chest strap but I did know I have quite a low hr.

http://www.historyguide.org/ancient/socrates.html "...Socrates was a bit on the ugly side and overweight." Did he dance to overcome it? Perhaps that is more anecdotal.
-
Yes, I'm terrible about beating. A yawn a lot, isn't that bc of lack of oxygen? Idk but thanks for the reminder!
-
I was wrong. The info was from the CR 2019 buying guide. Also, Fitbit was number 1. Here's a pic.....
-
If I eat back 100% of the calories and those existing calories (my activity is set to sedentary) aren't subtracted, it could lead to weight gain.
-
So, since the exercise cals given are "complete" burn does FB then subtract those extra "existing" calories from my main FB calorie burn? Therefore the calories won't be represented in 2 ledgers ( exercise and main)??
-
Also, I recently readjusted my weight loss to 1lb per week. And I've been instructed to eat back all exercise calories. I feel dubious about that point because like today I did a high intensity aerobics class and burned over 430 cals on my Fitbit. Possible?
-
Thanks! Not too onerous but frequent especially around TOM which may play into it. I try to eat within 2 hours of working out. Intensity is hard but I keep hydrated. I saw my doctor about this very thing probably a decade ago, his response was that I was working out too hard which I felt like was a curious…
-
Could that be my trouble? I try to always workout "fasted" except for coffee with cream/sugar.
-
Consumer reports recently did an article on activity trackers, number one a Garmin runners watch but the higher end Fitbits were the next most accurate
-
I posted before even reading the whole feed because I was so disturbed after reading just a few comments. Glad there's at least one other person that tries to do the right thing, stand by commitments, and not screw people over.

Besides the fact that it's lying.....
-
For real! I have to bring my kids to the gym and it gives me anxiety thinking of dealing with another round of fever, puke, or diarrhea. I feel like this year has been so bad!!!
-
I didn't get to workout today bc my kids are sick.....again......from going to the gym daycare where parents bring their sick kids so they can still get their workout in. Please be kind and take a few days off so they can get healthy!!
-
*everyone else applies to the other healthy kids, not specifically the other adult gym goers
-
Do you think it would be closer to 1200 if I ate back more exercise calories?
-
Don't know why pic is like that so if I am eating the correct cals for my plan, the difference of net and weekly cals should be zero
-
Last week. I was only eating 50% exercise calories but I think I will change to eating all

A bubble butt (I'm jelly!). My booty is wide and gross and not cute. When I was tiny and 20, even my boyfriend seemingly complimented me by saying I had "childbearing hips." Thanks?!?! My hips cause my butt to resist that adorable bubble shape.
