Hi all. I've been on and off of this ap for years. I've let my fitness standard slip in the past year and am just getting back some motivation and shaping my fitness and weight loss goals. I've been too afraid to step on the scale for the past few months but, I'm going to have to if I want results. Looking for…

BahstenB10 - I'm getting older and my metabolism is slowing down but my career depends on my ability to complete arduous workouts. So I have to exercise quite often. I do a running and strength circuit Monday, lifting Tuesday, weighted run and circuit Wednesday, calisthenics and cardio Thursday morning followed by weights…

Insanity pure cardio, insane abs, and a 3.5 mile run/walk.

Yes! Counting calories works for me but unfortunately sometimes I underestimate what I intake vs what I put out. (Metabolism slows after 32 apparently). I've just completed week 2 of the original Insanity series (for the umpteenth time). Hoping I can actually correctly and faithfully follow the program to the end this…

Trying to get this 6 pack. Looking like a 3.5 right now lol

Granted I am just giving advice based on what has worked for me. Your body is a machine, it burns X amount of calories resting per day (amount depends on age, heart rate, activity level etc) the only way to lose weight is to burn more than you put in. My heartrate is low and it takes a lot of work to get into my calorie…

Hello, looking for more friends to motivate me on my journey to get this beach body!!

@ Justanotherguy2020, @tinydancer106, thank you guys. Got to get back to that in the next 2 mos.

I'm sure it wont be too bad. I find weekly weigh ins keep me on track better than monthly but not daily.

5'5 (higher side of 5'4 and a half) and 141 or 2. I'll post an updated weight 2mrw. I looked like this in Sept though!...damn holiday season...

A little cheat snack is ok every now and then. You will get back at it.
-
You got this. Gotta start somewhere.

Oh and please excuse my ignorance for not knowing that 12st meant 12 stone. Was not familiar with that measurement of weight.
-
I couldnt understand the weight you said you were at via this post but it looked like 122lbs? At 35 and 5ft 3? If that is correct I'd say you've already won! The others are right, dont beat yourself up over a couple bad days. If you feel you've eaten too much, maybe try you tubing a quick light intensity floor exercise…

A week* not a day!

Thanks. I have my first fitness test on Wednesday. It will be a first class score, but worried about maxing the pull-up portion and I know my run time has suffered. It's ok though. I have lifting and cardio training 4 times a day this season. I'll get there! Good luck to you too! Keep it up!
