It sounds as though you might be pushing yourself too hard, too soon. I know you want to get the weight back off but you're still recovering <3

it seems you could maybe benefit from constructing a list of breakfasts, lunches and dinners that fit into your daily cal count. This avoids having to think about the cals on a daily basis, do the weighing and adding etc. Eg out of 2200 daily calories you could have 6-700 cals per meal (or divide up however you wish eg…

Are you in the UK? If so, I would suggest booking a double appt with your GP to discuss: Are you adequately medicated for your hypothyroidism? Are the anaemias a past or current problem, do they require medication? eg ferritin, folate, B12? or a more complex picture requiring haematologist input What support and…

I would ask your doc to refer you to a dietician. It's not really adequate to send you off saying 'go keto' without further advice, IMO.

I love close-cropped hair on a man. But it doesn't mean shampoo isn't required any longer. Not a lot worse than the stank of unwashed hair and scalp IMO.

How early are we talking?

The Mediterranean diet has been shown to have the best health impacts, particularly on cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases. I think the 'keto way of life' has become a bit cult-ish and is entered into by a great many people who haven't considered all the potential implications.

Recheck how you're calculating your calorie allowance. It sounds as though your baseline level should be set at 'sedentary', with your exercise logged in whenever you do it.

Are you under a consultant endocrinologist? You should be prescribed the active form if you're unable to convert levo sufficiently. It's not acceptable to be left having to only consume 800cal/day. T3 is still available to those whose biochemistry demonstrates its requirement. The vast majority are fine on T4 only; GPs in…

Your current lifestyle is unsustainable, and I think you know it deep down. Something's gotta give, and it won't be pretty. Good luck.

Nappy rash cream on the affected areas at night (eg Bepanthen, also great for healing tattoos) Keep an eye in case it looks fungal, the dreaded 'jock itch'

It would be advisable to discuss this with your doctor and find out what the cause is.

You feel guilty because you're sabotaging yourself. What's the point of putting in the work for six days just to blow it on day seven...and repeat.

Not sure you're meant to leave a face mask on that long... Just kidding, you've done brilliantly B)

Are you stretching after your walks? google brings up a few easy moves that should hopefully help.

I would report this to your prescribing doctor. You might need to adjust your meds and/or check your blood sugar levels.

cont'd Having made the above points: "I know that this whole stepping this MIGHT appear to be an addiction, but in th3 end it's just burning some extra calories." You are not consuming extra calories Nor do you have extra calories in the form of body fat to burn I'm concerned you've started this thread to seek tips that…

1. As you most likely have access to databases of scholarly journals via your education program, why not search for evidence around the concept of 'active rest' and the importance of recovery time in athletic endeavors. 2. Your black and white thinking pitting endless hours of walking vs. being " bored sitting and most…
