You can do splits and probably best growth is if u do each muscle grp 2 times a week.

Ok, so u are saying u didnt exercise at all but just ate how mfp told you your maintenance is? Or did u count how much u ate and how much u burned in a day to get ur deficit calories? Because that was what i was saying and yes 50 calories is not much. U re talking about a 1 year period, its a long time. And how exactly do…

Feel free to add, if u need motivation or just wanna talk to someone :)

I m actually not on a journey, i m at 12% bf and i would call it a lifestyle. With over 20 years of experience i think i know what i m talking about. *edited by MFP volunteer moderator

50 calories deficit a day is nothing. U would maintain ur weight with it. U re talking in some reverse weird way. U can maintain ur weight eating 3000 cal a day if u burn the same amount. So idk what kind of calculator u use. Anyways this is not a thread for this kind of discussion. We went offtopic.

Exactly what i said :) dont get why u disagree haha. Even tho i miss 1x0 in the counting. U need to burn 2300 if u eat 1800 to lose 1lb a week. Too much sun today.
-
No what i wanted to say is more like. U should eat 1800 calories a day and burn 1850 a day and u will be in a deficit to lose 1 lb a week. Or if u eat less burn less. This is why i use mfp only to see aprox how many calories my meals have. Even tho its not 100% accurate.

Why would u eat back more then u burn if u wanna lose weight?

Calories are calories to lose weight u need to stay in deficit. It doesnt matter if calories come from fat/carbs or proteins. Ofc it would be the best to eat low calories dense foods meaning low in fats high in proteins carbs and volume. Carbs give u energy that u need to do a good training, and proteins build ur muscles.…

And we are here to help you through it :)

Stoping to drink actually helps, you should be only eating your calories and not drinking them, if u drink calories as well and not count them, there could be your problem. It doesnt really matter how many calories u eat as long as u exercise enough to stay in the deficit. Low calorie dense foods help with that. *edited by…

As long as u hit ur macros for ur goal, size and weight, dont feel hunger and have enough energy u dont need to be pushing this suggested minimum of 1200 calories. But as i said before if under 1200 is not enough just exercise more and all good. And MFP is not designed to eat back ur exercise but to track ur calories…

Why would u not have more than 150 calorie deficit? 1 hour of walking makes u burn around 200 calories. Eating low calorie high density foods helps u stay full and meet your macros. Maybe u can even eat under 1200 calories with proper plan. If not, exercise a bit more and u should be good. It is really simple, stay in…

If u think ur body is retaining too much water because u are drinking a lot, maybe the problem is that u re consuming too much salt/sodium. Water retention can also be good as ur body needs to stay hydrated. If you are losing weight, the fat cells that are “melting” can retain water to fill up the missing space of the fat…

I think covid made many ppl to gain weight and lose motivation in general. I would suggest to start slow with walks, playing with ur kids, walking your dog ect and slowly move into some small workouts that u can also do with kids and make it as a fun game for them. Food is also really important and you should make sure to…
