I did WW many years ago before they introduced the new Points system. I found it ok but it got a bit expensive.

Hi everyone. I am 50 plus years young ( close to 60) and obese and have been a yo yo dieter all my adult life. Love walking and swimming but eat too much food. I like being outdoors especially in the bush. Not happy with my weight (17 stone) and have arthritis in one knee. Own a ginger cat aged 10, work, and enjoy knitting…

Body odor. Unreliable.

Not wiping down the equipment and people who fart!

I did go to OA but it did not work for me but a number of the other attendees found that the program completely changed their lives for the better. Try it and see if it suits you.

Yes I think food addiction is real. Just like drugs or alcohol, food is addictive. There is an organization called Overeaters Anonymous based on the alcoholics anonymous 12 step program. Works for some people but not others.

I have not been in a sauna in many years but the local public swimming pool has a sauna and you must wear a swimsuit/togs. People are generally barefooted or wearing flip flops/jandles on their feet. As for having a cellphone in the sauna - this for me is not something I would ever do!

I have looked at weight loss drugs in the past but in my country they are expensive and not everyone can afford to pay for them.

Buy frozen vegetables and frozen berries. Make a shopping list before heading to the supermarket. Check out farmers markets for cheaper and fresher fruit and vegetables.

Whatever you do, hang in there. Keep positive! Regarding your apartment, can you get rid of any clutter and maybe consider hiring a cleaner for a Spring clean? Take care.

What fabulous photos! Good on you for hiking. I live in the southern hemisphere, so summer is fast approaching so going to be doing a lot of walks this summer.
