Thanks so much for this. I’m terrified of my period because the pain is intolerable which makes weightloss impossible for two weeks of every month (lead up to and active period) so I’m really hoping this works. I appreciate your input.

So I decided to weigh and measure myself this time around. I have just been diagnosed with endometriosis so this is probably not the norm for everyone but since last week I’m up 3.8kg and one size. Three inches in my belly and 2 in my chest. Periods really suck.

I would change it up until you’re too focused to think about anything else. I run and do intense cardio as I find that stops my mind. I also do resistance and weights but can be easily distracted.

I bloat ridiculously the week before. Easily 2-3kg (4-7lbs) weight gain the week before my period. I no longer weigh myself at all during the week before or of.

Get a blood test every now and again to check levels - that’s the only way. Make sure also that this diet is sustainable and what you plan to eat at maintenance and not just during your diet. Weightloss and maintenance is a lifestyle. Diet indicates once you reach your goal it will finish.
