I started 16:8 IF the first week of May this year. I started practicing the Warrior schedule on l Aug first. It’s definitely challenging some days to get all your nutrients into OMAD within such a small eating window.

Yes, I was strict with my carb intake at first. I think it’s because I was on a 16:8 IF schedule eating twice a day. Since I’ve moved to an OMAD 20:4 schedule I watch only the high glycemic carbs (pasta, bread, and rice). I basically choose carbs and looked at my weekly intake to make sure I’m getting all my nutrients.

I would not recommend dry fasting. Water is essential.

What did you crave today? There are alternatives!! My OMAD choice of the day was edamame pasta. Not fricken bad! Have you tried it?

I’ve been practicing IF since early May and I’m now on the Warrior schedule/OMAD. My entire journey from 16:8 to now had been amazing, and I’ve reaped the benefited with losing weight and inches. I break mine with a dirty martini 😂 Seriously, I typically break with one of the below: Avocado Bone Broth Kombucha When I can’t break with one of the above for whatever reason I break with whole foods such as veggies or nuts, or lean protein.
