I like to eat prunes directly and it works fine.. Prune juice worked wonders for me baby when he had constipation around 6 months mark, at the start of solids.. and it really did solve the problem for him ..

I agree with @charmmeth In addition my personal experience - The best Ayurvedic remedy that has worked for me is having a spoonful of ghee with hot water or hot milk as the last meal of the day... Prunes have also helped me a lot... Also one spoon of soaked sabja seeds provides 6g fiber without adding much to your carbs…

I would agree with the above comments about arm pedalling and chair exercises. In addition you could consider the lying down dumbbell exercises, if the position is comfortable for you...

I do a mix mainly because of the health benefits associated with IF. I finish dinner by 7pm and have breakfast next morning at 9am.. If am too hungry I may have breakfast at 8am else I wait until 9am for breakfast .. so that's a 13-14 hrs gap ... Beyond 14 hrs doesn't work for me as I need my breakfast to feel energetic..…
