Due to my health scenarios am not allowed to exercise, and this used to be my stress buster.. so now I have introduced daily meditation to cope with stress levels ... Ofcourse am eating healthy meals and no junk food..

I do the same, if I hv taken a walk on a particular day, I add exercise calories on MPF as shown on my steps tracker and my overall calories are adjusted on MFP.

You can also check if you are losing inches.. when you start exercising you gain muscle mass and that means you may not notice big weight loss numbers but you will surely shape up better. .
